How to Maintain Your Car’s Cleanliness Between Hand Washes
Maintaining your car’s cleanliness between washes is essential to preserve its appearance and value. Here are some simple steps to help you keep your car looking clean and tidy:
- Regularly Remove Trash: Dispose of any trash or debris accumulated inside your car. Use a small trash bag or container to keep things organized.
- Wipe Down Surfaces: Use a microfiber cloth and mild interior cleaner to wipe down the dashboard, steering wheel, and other surfaces regularly. This prevents dust buildup and maintains a fresh interior.
- Vacuum Regularly: Vacuum the carpets, seats, and floor mats to eliminate dirt and crumbs. A handheld vacuum or portable car vacuum can be handy for quick cleanups.
- Use Car Mats: Invest in high-quality rubber or carpeted car mats. They can protect your car’s floor from spills and dirt, and you can easily remove and clean them.
- Keep Cleaning Wipes Handy: Keep some automotive cleaning wipes in your car. They can be used to quickly clean surfaces and remove smudges and stains.
- Avoid Eating Inside: Minimize eating inside your car to reduce the chances of spills and crumbs. If you do eat, make sure to clean up immediately afterward.
- Park Thoughtfully: When parking, choose shaded or covered areas to reduce exposure to bird droppings, tree sap, and other debris.
- Use a Car Cover: If you don’t use your car frequently or park it for extended periods, consider using a car cover to protect it from dust and outdoor elements.
- Address Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, clean them up as soon as possible to prevent stains or odors from setting in.
- Rinse Off Dirt: If you notice your car is covered in light dirt or dust, use a gentle spray or rinse to remove it. Avoid high-pressure washing, as it may damage the paint.
By following these tips, you can keep your car looking fresh and well-maintained between regular washes, ensuring it stays in top condition for years to come.

Unfortunately this is the worst full service car wash I have ever received. This is my third managers special adding the floor mats and the tire shine. I thought I might have caught them on a bad day the first time. I chose a different location for the second wash. Still not great but slightly better than the first wash. I went to the Shawano location today – the worst yet.
My windshield was not cleaned. It still had the wiper outline. They didn’t touch the running boards. The back of my car was cleaned with a dirty towel – dirt everywhere on the lift gate. The tire shine is nothing. It looks as though they didn’t touch them. They didn’t vacuum the cargo area in the back which is literally a 2 min job at most.
I paid $48 for this wash. Any drive through gas station car wash would be equal or possibly better than PDQ. Unreal. I would not recommend.
By Gene Lightfoot (5 months ago)The other cars in front of me were still being worked on when the guy came and told me my car was ready. The windshield wasn’t cleaned, windows not cleaned, nothing was wiped down in my car it was the worst manager special I have ever experienced. I basically paid for nothing, I now have to go home and still clean it myself. I personally feel ripped off. And I never am one to leave reviews but it was so bad I felt I had to.By Caitlin Cotnoir (5 months ago)I would like say I never expect my car to be perfect but after $50 today and none of the interior even got wiped down. I’ll just get exterior washes only from here on out. What a waste of money.By Bay Area Realty & Appraisals (6 months ago)2 of the last 3 times I TRIED to get a car wash, I left without one. They cycle so many “exterior only” cars through it takes FOREVER just to get in line. For as much as they charge (AND THEY CHARGE A LOT), you’d think the service would be better!! I’m just gonna wash my car myself and save the $40!By Joe R (Jorrzz) (2 months ago)Interior of car wasn’t cleaned well. Areas weren’t wiped down leaving winter salt from shoes/boots still on interior doors. Windows were smearing from not using clean rags for windows only. $40 and left very disappointed.By Lynn Barbeau (3 months ago)

The windows now have a film on them. The back wasn’t even touched. The bugs and DIRT are still on my car. Terrible. I should get my money back.By Nicole Henry (a year ago)

Im a clean freak, locations are ok, best wash/dry is in Menasha, worst is Richmond/OO in Appleton. Seem most negative reviews are inside issues, I only do exterior wash. People that live like pigs and have high expectations of paying to clean up after them.
Today, I had a vehicle delivered to me from California covered in red clay and dirt. Too embarrassing/dirty to even park at my business. Ran it through the PDQ elite exterior wash. What an incredible job! Night and day difference in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommended.
Great place to spend $50 on a pre-clean before cleaning your own car.
Or, you can do it as much as you want for a monthly fee.
They are the only full-service place in town, so I guess that’s what you get.
I got my vehicle cleaned today and they never vacuumed my trunk which was popped open when I went inside. They didn’t wiped down the inside in the back. I have always gotten my car washed here and this was the first time this happened. I did call and they offered a solution.
I have been so disappointed with the Oneida Street (Ashwaubenon, WI) location in the past that I wrote your entire company off, but I ended up needing a quick and complete cleaning last month, so I decided to give you one more chance. I purchased some sort of deal where I received $15 off of a 2-wash package. I was extremely unhappy with the condition of my car when I left, and when I immediately drove back around and talked to the manager, she said corporate would not allow her to refund me, but she could wash it herself since her team did a horrible job. I told her I thought it was ridiculous that a manager would even have to think of such a thing, and I wanted a refund. She said it was absolutely impossible and my only choice was to accept a free wash voucher. Are you kidding me? Why would I want a free “wash” when no washing is actually happening? I told her I had no interest in returning and she said I may want to try the Shawano Ave, Green Bay location because I might walk away happier. WHAT?! So… your location is such a failure that you have to have management wash away the team’s mistakes and ultimately send customers to another location? Here are the “after” pics.
