Upon our request ,Lens the plumber sent a plumber to our house on Friday afternoon 5-19-2023. Upon arrival he said nothing cannot be done that afternoon and then took a quick look at the problem. Within one minute literally, he said the whole PVC line connections have to be replaced for a whopping $2700.00. When I hesitated he started selling to me that I would save a few % if I decide to enroll an annual service plan that Lens the plumber offer. Ok ,sale pitch. I cannot argue against that. But the sad thing is that he spent more time on that than diagnosing our plumbing issue. What is more maddening is that we found another plumber the following day who determined that a lot of the proposed work was not necessary and they fixed the problem within one hour of labor charge for much much less fee. I guess gouging and unethical business practice are the two relatively mild words I would use to voice my complaint . Jeff, John and the rest of the team were phenomenal. I was not excited about the prospects of replacing my main sewer line, but they made the process much less painful. Starting with Jeff who ran the camera and provided the estimate then to John and the team that performed the work jack hammering my basement and replacing the pipe. They were all very professional from start to finish and answered all of my many questions throughout the process. They all went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the job. The first time they came to the house the plumber was on time and took a look at our issue. He diagnosed it as something that he could not fix and gave us recommendations on how to go about fixing it. We paid for the diagnostic service. We then scheduled our general contractor to follow up and he told us the problem was not diagnosed correctly and to call a plumber again. We were a bit frustrated to hear that considering we just had Len the Plumber come to the house. So we called Len back and said we would like the plumber to come back out and re-diagnose the issue as it was not done correctly the first time. They agreed and scheduled us for service and gave us a date and window of three hours. The day of our scheduled service, we waited three hours, did not hear from anyone, no call, no communication at all. We call Len to see when someone would come and we were told no one is coming because they got slammed. Ok fine, we were annoyed that we did not receive a courtesy call but understand these things happen. We rescheduled for the next day, same window of 3 hours. Again, today, no call, no communication, nothing from Len the Plumber. Wasted our time again, no courtesy call. Apparently they do not value our time and have no problem with us waiting around.We had to call to check in again only for them to tell us nobody is coming. It would have been nice to have received a courtesy call to let us know they needed to reschedule for the second time. Two no shows, terrible customer service, lack of professionalism. - Reviews:I woke up one day to a sink in my kitchen that would not drain. This was a difficult situation since I made it so my family could not use the kitchen. I called prime plumbing after the 1st plumber I called could not resolve the issue. Sam came out and from the start was very competent. He looked over the situation and began by repairing the damage the last plumber had left in the sink. He opened the piping in the basement so he could determine the problem, where it was located, and how to fix it. Sam then went to his office for additional equipment so he could free the blockage in the pipe the other plumber could not address, and get all working again. This required a special kind of snake to use in the drain, and it was clearly the “right tool for the job”. Sam also fixed the kitchen sink plumbing so it now had a trap I could clean, and put a vent in the pipe so it would flow more freely. I was very happy that Sam left it “better than he found it” and did such a great job for us. In addition, he was a very pleasant person and easy to deal with. Sam was also a “company man” and spoke highly of the company himself, and was clear that all staff had his level of expertise. I would highly recommend Prime Plumbing for any plumbing work. I plan to use them for all my future plumbing work, and could not be more satisfied with the job they did in my home. Repair costs are a little bit on the higher side, however the amount was worth the piece of mind that a good job was done. Joe Allen replaced our dripping faucet and some piping, etc. The way the vanity was built made it very difficult to replace anything and the pipes not in code. Honestly, this was a project we could not do ourselves. The old faucet was also an issue in itself trying to remove it.
Joe Allen was just wonderful to deal with. He was not only professional but just a nice person. I felt very comfortable with him in my house. Also, he arrived when expected (even early – dispatch did ask if that was okay), the first time he arrived. When it was recommended a get a new faucet to fix the issue, as well as replace pipes under the sink which where not in code, I was able to choose the faucet of my liking and was given a choice of different costs up front for the entire project. The new faucet needed to be ordered and thought it would take at least a week, however I got a call within 2 days stating it was in. I made a new appointment for it to be installed, and dispatch kept me informed when Joe would arrive.
The entire experience was top notch and I would use Len the Plumber again. If. you do decide to use their service, I would recommend you ask for Joe. I will be using him again for sure.
Lastly, if you decide not to use their service you have to pay the 49.00 gas fee. Honestly, I know some people found this unfair, but honestly I don’t blame them.
Andre was WONDERFUL!!!!! He had my new faucet,and disposal put in in less than an hour. He showed up early, and did an EXCELLENT job!!! Will always recommend Len to anyone that needs any work done!!! Great price also?….. Update from today, they came out to check my HVAC system as a bonus with our warranty. Very friendly, and professional. Great company!!!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!! Thanks guys??
We’ve worked with Len the Plumber a couple times in our new home. They’ve been nothing but professional, friendly, and honest. Initially, they replaced our sewer line, and it was done within a few hours. More recently, we needed to replace our water heater, and they were out here the next day. Kyle and Zack were awesome! They were both so kind and put everything in terms we understood. Plus, when we originally called for service, the man who answered offered us a new special which gave us a big discount on our water heater! We’ll continue to call Len the Plumber for any plumbing and heating/air services.
I’ll never call another company. Service and quick response time is unmatched. I’m a general contractor and wouldn’t hire my own team over len the plumber Derrick was amazing. Matt The operator was awesome. Andrew, I want to say site manager was incredible. The other two gentlemen that were on site were also extremely professional and kind. All around 10 out of 10. Everybody involved made the check much easier to sign in the end. No one wants to spend money. As a general contractor, I’m pretty knowledgeable in the field but I was also educated on the process which again make sign in the check a little easier. Everybody involved was as careful as could be to my garden and my 50-year-old Japanese maple.
We are thrilled with our new water heater. We called them for an emergency visit due to a bad leak in old water heater and they came within an hour. Sean Miller and Zach arrived and wore shoe covers. They were friendly, efficient, very attentive, professional and left the area clean. Sean has 35 years of experience and did an outstanding job. We are so happy and we highly recommend them. We plan to hire them again. ?
