Wheelchair accessible. ? An absolute must! I’ve lived here my life and never knew it’s history. The captain was full of historical knowledge that was fascinating from a wartime sunken ship, to the gold rush days and he’ll even point out seals along the way and get dolphins to fly!? (He had the best sense of humor.) I highly recommend this 1 hour trip. Bring a camera. All the crew are very friendly. Snacks and mini bar are on board. Seating in and out. Worth the cost. ⚘
I bought a Groupon and took my mom on this wonderful tour.
We went at 2 pm on Halloween and it was perfect.
The weather was wonderful…just a nice day.
They boarded us 30 minutes before we left. We were the first in line so we raced to the top balcony for the best view.
They have seating up there as well as seating inside the boat.
They had music playing and a small bar area where you could purchase drinks and snacks.
The cruise went down past Chevy then turned around and went up the river the other way.
The view was beautiful…the cruise was a lot of fun.
I would for sure recommend this for you to try. We had a wonderful time.
My friends and I went for the Sacramento City Cruise tour. It’s well organized. We had an issue since we only booked 9 but we’re actually 10 people. But the captain of the cruise said it’s easy to rectify it. So they did without any hassle. It’s a great experience. Highly recommended.
Visited while out of town. I thought this Historic River Cruise would be a nice way to end my week and learn a little bit about Sacramento. It was quite easy to find. Capt Jack was pretty funny, and I did learn a few things about Sacramento. However, I’m glad I found my ticket in Groupon. I don’t think it’s worth the $27-35 listed on the website.
Delightful one hour cruise along the Sacramento River! The cruise was narrated by the captain himself throughout. Great fully stocked bar on the second deck! Beware that a small bag of chips is $3 but the drinks are very reasonable. Recommend you try to sit on the top deck starboard (right) side for the longer views upstream as the return trip is much shorter. Very scenic and educational and highly recommend the Gold Rush Scenic Tour!
