Hideously over priced, awful stock control, regularly run out of large semi skimmed milk with several hours of trading left, full fat and skimmed always full up. Few own brand items sold, popular ones are often replaced by expensive branded items. The new large Morrisons only a couple of minutes away provides infinitely better value for money.

Never really have anything bad about there the staff are nice other than they seem to have an issue with serving you when they are stacking the shelfs they look at you as if to say use the self service im busy and then they seem to start getting rude as in not wanting to converse or even smile 🙃 some the time which is a shame because they are normally pleasant its not just been on one visit its at least a few times a week when they are re stacking

Staff are forever stacking shelves rather than monitoring the tills. You feel like a massive inconvenience should you need to ask for help. Not sure if they’re understaffed, miserable or a mix of both.

Location is useful and the free car park outside makes it easier.

Lack of staff in the store sometimes can be really annoying when you are completing an argos collection as you have to wait a while and hope they turn up or go on a hunt for someone.

The store is quite small so there isn’t loads of choice but has all the main stuff you would need.

Store is very expensive compared to Tesco express or other supermarkets. I understand it’s convenient but it’s still very overpriced.

They seem to have a good handle on the cleaning of everything however and the store is very clean.

Shelves are also normally always stocked and nothing is empty.

  1. Nice clean cafe, friendly staff.
Nice tasting mocha and doughnut. Quiet, spacious cafe, free O2 wifi, easy to work and eat at leisure. Plenty of parking.

  2. Our regular supermarket.

Really like all their own branded stuff. Fairly reasonably priced though has definitely gone up recently, as has everywhere.

Good selection of food inside. A lot of plastic free packaging though still massive room for improvement! Especially in the fruit and veg aisles! Nothing there should be in plastic or any kid of non compostable packaging!

The do household items there too, like cups, plates, small electrical appliances.

Clothes available too as reasonable prices.
Not a great selection of children’s stuff, last time went in looking for children’s slippers and was met with only 2 options, neither of which were desirable.

  3. Nice well kept and cleaned, and amazing Barbie display…

BUT PLEASE KEEP SOME TISSUE STOCKED UP IN THE BATHROOMS! There was none in the men’s (my dad checked), none in the women’s and none in the disabled. Quite disappointing.

Had to run back to the car to get my own. Lesson learned & shared ✨

  4. It’s a nice bright clean supermarket to shop at with good quality food.
The delivery service we experienced was very unpleasant, I hope no one else has a similar experience – no acknowledgement of their error, and customer is certainly not right. Inclined to think this was their views and opinions and not those of Sainsbury’s. Could definitely benefit from some training in customer care.

  5. Possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. It looked like a frozen packet of fish and chips that had been seriously overcooked in a microwave. The peas were ok and my cup of tea was very nice but I would never recommend anybody eat here.
