Although these reviews are not recent, I don’t understand the negative ones I’ve read! We moved to Acrefair September 21 & have always found Tesco Cefn very good, prices not too bad, some high. Staff are always helpful & friendly & a community feel about it👍

Tesco in Wrexham: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at Tesco, there are some important rules to keep in mind to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. These rules are designed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all customers, as well as to maintain the integrity of the store. Here are some guidelines to follow while shopping at Tesco:

  • Follow social distancing guidelines: Maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from other shoppers and staff members while in the store. Tesco has implemented floor markers and signage to help customers comply with social distancing.
  • Wear a face mask: In line with government regulations, it is mandatory to wear a face mask or covering while inside the store, unless exempt for medical reasons.
  • Use hand sanitizers: Make use of the hand sanitizers provided at store entrances and throughout the store to ensure proper hygiene.
  • Respect store capacity limits: If the store is at maximum capacity, you may be asked to queue outside until it is safe to enter. Be patient and follow the instructions given by store staff.
  • Follow directional signage: Pay attention to directional arrows or signage indicating one-way aisles and entrances/exits. This will help maintain a smooth flow of traffic and minimize crowding.
  • Observe purchase limits: In times of high demand, Tesco may impose purchase limits on certain items to prevent stockpiling. Respect these limits to ensure that there is enough for everyone.
  • Bag your own groceries: Due to safety measures, Tesco encourages customers to pack their own groceries at the checkout to minimize contact and maintain hygiene.
  • Show kindness and patience: Understand that the shopping experience may be different during these times and that staff members are working hard to ensure your safety. Treat others with respect and be patient if things take longer than usual.

Following these rules will contribute to a safer and more efficient shopping experience for yourself and others. Remember, we all have a responsibility to protect our health and the wellbeing of the community.

  1. A member of staff who was working on the till told us that she hated people from Wrexham (she was from Cumbria), we are all rude and horrible! A manager was told about this and thought it was my own fault that I was offended!? Staff are too lazy to help if you need help finding products. My mother is partially sighted and has asked for help many times and they just can’t be bothered.

  2. If you want to close earlier than ten Tesco knock yourself out but turning off lights on freezers, packing the aisles so that you can’t move and not one manned till really puts me off. You’re well stocked with good choice which is why you got two stars but poor customer service.

  3. Good range of goods here plus own cafe on upper floor. Recently Greggs have opened a small cafe on the ground floor. Good range of clothing but the changing rooms are now permanently closed. Petrol station on site with a car wash. There was a car wash/valeting facility which you could use…..drop your car off, do your shopping, then pick car up……great service but has now closed.

  4. Only went there once but was satisfied. Good range of goods, a lot of parking space too.

  5. A big spacious store. Larger range as this is one of the extra stores that are bigger and stock more choice. Good range of quality fresh fruit and veg. Self service and tills with an actual human on . Plenty of parking and plenty of disabled and parent and child parking spaces right by the entrance. Staff helpful and chatty. A nice store to visit.
