Sainburys inside the frencegate shopping centre Doncaster is quite large for a smaller Sainsburys shop. It has a fresh baked bakery section, which was unfortunately quite empty when we got there later on in the day, but we did manage to pick up some reduced price bread. Other than that this shop has everything you would expect from a sainburys shop, only the variety of different products is reduced due to its smaller size.

  1. Lots of choice including british potatoes for 19p and carrots for 19p
Well stocked too which is nice to see at the moment with friendly staff

  2. I love the chicken counter. World’s apart from Asda’s equivalent.
And the staff there are smashing.
Albeit I’m a known face now.

I say . Bring back the kebabs 🙏😉
    Thanks team

  3. Regrettably these days some items I want are out of stock or not stocked at all now, meaning I also have to shop elsewhere. At one time I could get every item i needed, if not the brand I preferred. Unsure what’s changed, other than it fits with lessening of service everywhere. Otherwise, the store and staff are very good.

  4. Never got what i want food wise when i go and i still think its the dearest supermarket but the clothes are good and reasonable

  5. Altogether excellent; it’s a vast emporium with lots of stuff, often in variety. All the staff we met were pleasant and very helpful. Yet it can be disappointing where comparable with M&S Food. E.g.: their only ‘Chocolate Sauce’ has a mere 4% chocolate – make your own, it’s easy; none of their Pesto choices has olive oil as the only oil. A Waitrose of comparable size beats them hands down. Morrisons are better at cheese and fresh fish. On leaving, wonder why Jamie O pimps for them; it can only be for the fee.
