a week agoI do not believe that Sainsbury is the only cheapest petrol around worcester. There was a long wait to get fuel, but it was worth going .it looking at all other petrol stations are making a lot of profit of working people. I hope people make their minds up not go to them.a month agoI have been using the smart shop since the beginning but unfortunately the last 4 days at the check out when scanning at the till my phone tells me the shop is complete but the till l was using did not recognise it. The only thing l could do was to re scan the shop again and use another till. Very time consuming!! Please explain what is happening?a month agoEnough parking, good collection of groceries. You find a variety of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices. Homeware and bedware available in store. There’s a good variety of wine and cold drinks present3 weeks agoLimited variety but love that there’s a halal food section and the bakery is always a hit with the kids.a week agoWell-stocked and easy to move around. Smartshop very convenient too but the new self-checkout scanners can’t read gift card barcodes from my phone, which is frustrating.

The quality of food in this store is completely substandard. The veg is always rotting and mouldy. Astonished that they actually think it’s acceptable they can charge consumers for such a state. I’ve noticed the quality going down hill more and more over the last year or two and yesterday I finally vowed never to return to Sainsburys St Johns.
I am a Bachelor Consequently. I don’t really enjoy Shopping. But staff at Sainsbury’s are. Always Genuinely friendly. And go out of there way. To help. ……l wanted something not really often requested.!! ( A. Jar of Honey 🍯). ( No I’m not Paddington 🐻 Bear ). But the staff member l asked was most kind and Helpful……And went the extra mile…..And didn’t just say something like oh! It’s aisle 8. !! But Actually went the extra mile. And guided me to it😀😀. I can only say well done 🤗🤗. Sainsbury’s. And give your staff a gold 🌟🌟 Star. Sainsbury’s st John’s Worcester Worcester 🌞.
Just popped in for a sandwich, not much of a selection available when I went and was a mess in the fridge the store generally looks nice and tidy. I did go to self serve rather than the desk with someone on as he was struggling with something at the desk and there was a que. (I needed to be in and out pretty quick)
4 stars because the shop is great BUT today, on a Sunday i go in the shop around 10ish, i pick what i wanted to buy then the self checkout OUT OF USE, not even 1 person at the till, and i asked someone why the self checkout doesn’t work or a person to be at the till (people are awaiting) and the answer was ” from 10ish you are allowed to look and get what want AND at 11:00 they open the tills and self checkout 🤣 FIRST SHOP ever in all my 32 years 🤣 to hear this. Don’t get me wrong, the shop is good but this policy to look before 11:00 is ridiculous, at least open the self checkout omfg…
