Good opening hours, super friendly staff, good choice of food and beverages. We were happy to simply get affordable drinks to mix ourselves instead of paying the incredible amount of money for English booze.

Pretty nice Tesco. The staff were very friendly and the shop has everything you need as a tourist in London. Also, decent location, easy to reach, our go-to shop for groceries.

Shuts early when staff want to go home. Don’t go any later than 21.55 or they won’t let you in as was my experience last night. Had no milk to feed my baby that night thanks to this branch

Small but convenient store. This Tesco Express is always busy and gets packed! So much so that people always get in your way when trying to pick up items especially in the meal deal area. There was also a number of baskets stacked up in the snack area so I couldn’t look for I wanted.

Another thing to add was that they didn’t have any wooden or plastic forks to go with the meal but was told by the server that we can get them next door at Pret A Manager.

For some reason we didn’t get offered a receipt for our meal deal that we bought. Instead she took the payment and then walked away. No thank you for our custom either. Alright taking your money though! Grrrrr. The rude money grabers!!

STORE DOES NOT CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT despite Tesco website saying so. Staff close store early, has happened on multiple occasions. Today was 22:50, but have experienced earlier. Asked security guard who uncomfortably confirmed they are closing early when asked with no reason (Staff clearly want to close up early and get home before close), he directed multiple people to go to sainsburys as they are still open.

Once saw a man with two bottles of white wine down his trousers here. Pretty incredible to see. Wasn’t able to make it out of the shop without them. Prices as per every other Tesco. Good location for late night snack

Cramped not suitable space for a store. Especially when there’s crates everywhere, go to the coop over the road instead

This Tesco is the worst Tesco I’ve ever come across! Never open when it’s supposed to be (6am) and forever closes early (11pm) when it’s supposed to close at 12am! This is central London! Where people want to pick up breakfast before starting work! Do something about it will you!

  1. I would definitely give them more if I could!

It is much bigger inside than it looks from outside.

They do pretty much everything. The staff is well trained and doing their job up to the standard.

I have to mention their selection of beers and ales separately. You can always get something nice here at discounted price for bundle

  2. The early morning staff are really helpful and friendly but as the day goes on and staff are changing over, the quality of service goes down. They’re also a bit of a joke when it comes to asking people for ID. I am well over the age of 25 and I get asked for ID for energy drinks and lottery. But again this is afternoon/evening times.

  3. Staff at this branch do not mask, and neither do more than half the customers. Its a small store with narrow aisles and a single entry-exit. All its pluses – friendly helpful staff, reasonable stock etc., really of no use when you can’t shop without having to stand between two maskless staffers talking across you to each other

  4. Always a friendly local Tesco to visit. The staff are helpful. In particular Helen who has been a loyal employee for years and is always happy and welcoming.

  5. I don’t like going to this store. Store employees are watching you like you’re about to steal something. Very humiliating (((
