a month agoBig supermarket where you can get all you need in one go. They have varieties of options to choose from including presents and gift’s card, toys and kids items, domestic items, food items, clothes, and the likes. They have fully stocked pharmacy inside with lots of off counter products available. Some of their products were bit higher in price but most were within the standard price range and affordable. They also incorporated other business like Argos, Specsavers and Timpson with available free cash machine outside. There were lots of free parking spaces at least for some hours of shopping. Remember to scan your Nectar card.3 weeks agoI bought two meal deals this lunch time. Caesar salad which was fine but the egg and potato salad was frozen when I served it. Which means that your fridges are not within legal temperature compliance. Definitely need to have this checked. I will be informing health and safety.3 months agoVisited 22 May, but was disappointed with the lack of choice in regards to stock and price. I needed some red beans in the 500g packet for a pound, as they are more flavorsome than the tin ones, but they only had the one and half kg for £4. The 200g Sainsbury own brand chocolate has gone up from £1.25 to £1.50. Just a few months before this product was good value at £1.00. I recently read the competitions and merger regulations body as well as the government was going to investigate this supermarket for keeping the cost of food and everyday items artificially high as well as their priority towards profiteering. From what I can see, their investigations should cover all the major supermarkets starting with “huge annual profits year on year” Tesco, as combined they were an obstacle in the national recovery from the cost of living crisis due in part to their greed.in the last weekWell stocked but some products are incredibly expensive. Not a place to do a big shop if you have any concerns about cost and value4 months agoBought this beautiful orchid for £12. Choices were not much in my opinion but this one fits for my purpose.

4 months agoI would just like to say a big thank you to the cashier that served myself and my partner this afternoon 06/05/23. I recently had a hip operation so today was a struggle for me. We were waiting in the queue at one of the till points when a cashier came across and said she would be opening the next till, so we moved across she could see I was struggling so she went and pulled a chair up close for me to sit down. Just great customer service from the lady shame I didn’t get her name as I would like this feedback to go to her. We were served at 14:30:32 C1449 #9697 S0823 Kind Regards Lisa Evans4 months agoJust popped in for fuel as very good price and bought some snacks. Counter not got much room if you have a bit of stuff. In fact by juggling i ledt something behind. But not a bad little place.2 months agoI came this morning around 12 noon, there were 8 customers with trolleys waiting to be served, with three check out open. While we were waiting they closed one checkout. I was there over 20 minutes waiting to go through the two checkouts. We don’t all want to use the self service, as 8 of us demonstrated this morning. There was no sign of any staff, other than a lady sorting out problems in self service.3 months agoThis supermarket effortlessly combines convenience, variety, and outstanding customer service, making it my go-to choice for grocery shopping. The staff members are friendly, approachable, and readily available to assist with any queries or concerns.
3 weeks agoJust gone to open a pack of scones whch we bought on the 17th August 2023. Opened the packet the next day 18th to find they were BEST BEFORE 16th August 2023. Disgusting operation by Sainsbury leaving customers to purchase FULL PRICE items without realising they are OUT OF DATE. You should be ashamed.

Sainsbury is probably my favourite supermarket. I love their variety and range. There is always something to fit your budget. Plus their Nectar discount system is very interesting. It a great place to shop.
Massive supermarket with clothes, kitchen sections and bakery and delicatessen. Also has a food court and cafe with decent selection. Timpson and in post locker too plus The Gym right next door.
Cafe experience. First time in the ‘new’ cafe today (apparently it opened last year but I didn’t notice). Just to say the staff were very engaging, happy and the English breakfast was great. Thanks
Drove here en route to see a client so I could grab some lunch. This Sainsbury’s has everything but as for the clientele mark my words it’s rough as anything. It’s that rough you can’t exit the tills without a receipt, the security alarms go off every 40
seconds and the glass at the bottom of the escalator has been vandalised.
The self checkout went slightly wrong however I needed an interpreter to talk to the assistant. The only good feeling I had about this visit was that I didn’t live here.
A clean, well presented supermarket. Good range of produce, good selection of women’s clothes…mens still bit limited and dated. Fresh produce is good and handy for the Argos that is contained within. Prices better than Co-op but not as cheap as Tesco. Be aware of beggars in the car park wanting to return your trolley, they have been known to be quite forceful with the more elderly customers, I had to intervene on one occasion.
