A rather large supermarket. I must say it feels like a discount shop in some parts, and a bit older, design wise. Multiple sales corners and self service cashier desks are a plus.

The new reorganization of the store did not work out. I don’t like it. Also, to return the bottles, now you have to go inside to the half of the store, and the far side wall. Compared to how it was, outside the store itself in the entry hallway, is pure nonsence. Outside location is btw the new standard, to which the competition is moving. Not my favourite store anymore.

Now that the store reconstruction is over, the place seems to be running a little smoother again. Although there’s still a lot of dust on some products, lots of insects in the baked goods and the staff (at the self-service registers) seem to be bothered by doing the job they voluntarily show up for every day.

Tesco Extra is recently renovated. It’s not as crowded as other supermarkets in Prague. Plenty of free parking space.

    Enjoy shopping with

It’s an okay place. Really close where we stayed but there was no other from the worker who spoke English, so the communication was a little weird.

My experience in Tesco is always satisfactory wherever their store and in what Country. In England I regularly shop in my town local Tesco and here in the Czech Republic their stores are just as good and indeed the best of all the supermarkets they have. In a nutshell I like Tesco because I find anything I need or looking for and the quality of their products is excellent and cheaper plus they do have a lot of reductions and bargains too.

Great disappointment. Expected fresh vegetables being one hour after opening and there was nothing. Empty fruit and vegetables shelves.

  1. Huge Tesco, large clothing section. Some nice comforts from home acquired before heading back to a land with no Tesco. 😔

  2. It hasn’t been the greatest experience since I moved to Vrsovice. I’ve witnessed two instances where older individuals slipped on broken sauce jars and fell quite hard. Additionally, I frequently come across wet surfaces without proper wet floor signs, just like in the photos, and the floors remain unclean for hours. Moreover, similar to other reviews, the fruit/vegetable aisle tends to have a significant number of moldy items, which are priced higher compared to nearby shops. Furthermore, as mentioned by other customers, I’ve noticed occasional discrepancies between the advertised prices and the actual charges. For instance, there was a 5kc difference on the receipt for Philadelphia cream cheese

  3. Shop is pretty huge, have lots of different stuff. They lack customer service though .Especially in the billing section they are so rude

  4. The Tesco is large and has a wide selection which is great for larger (weekly/monthly) shopping m. there’s even fashion (as well as toy, cosmetics etc.) section on its second floor. The a bit old school feel to it could get modernized a bit, and there can be quite a lot of people as well.

  5. If you have a Tesco Card you get good discounts here. Unless Tesco may not be the cheapest shopping store in Prague. Good collection of most of the house hold items
