a month agoDiscriminatory staff back in 2021 and when reported to managment I didnt get a reply. Never used again.7 months agoThe tyre air pump is the worst I’ve used in my life. I had to keep paying to get my tyres pumped. Slow, errors on it’s reading. Go somewhere else to save time and money.2 years agoDon’t use the car wash as it is very, very aggressive – it snapped my rear wiper arm, completely breaking it. Cost £60 to repair! Completely useless customer service too when reporting it. There’s a hand car wash down the road that I’ll be going to from now which won’t destroy my car!!7 years agoVery Hitty Missy when it comes getting meals here. We have been here before and had complain because of food not being right/temperature delays etc…. Just child’s pack lunch, omelette and macaroni cheese. Tasty, and served on time. Canny Lunch what we ordered and when we wanted it. Can’t fault it.3 years agoHorrible service from the petrol station on the 31/01/20 !! I’m a regular customer who frequents the grocery, the senior cashier (senior by age) on shift made my visit very uncomfortable. Insisting that she had send the payment to the card reader, after I repeatedly told her that there is nothing on the screen, she just stood there with nothing else to add except insisting that she has sent the payment to the card reader in a Very condescending manner, by repeating ” its there”. Eventually I requested the next till. The other cashier was professional. She greeted me and thanked me for shopping Otherwise i would have been there all evening

9 months agoBlonde girl who worked there at 10pm on 4/12/22 was very rude to me and completely ignore me when I was waiting at the checkout. I felt like a second-class citizen and made me feel self-conscious about my ethnicity because she sighed when I walked up to her2 years agoNot a HUGE range of products but good for a quick shop. Some of their servers can be a bit rude but the service is generally also good. They had a manager a couple of years ago who was a nightmare, but thankfully she has gone now, and service has improved accordingly.5 years agoGood Sainsbury’s local with friendly staff. Unfortunately they’ve had some issues with paypoint services recently and the selection isn’t large even for a small convenience store3 years agoKind and friendly staff. Good little shop, for things you quickly need/may have forgotten on your big shop.6 years agoAlways friendly staff dos not have what you want, but have what you need a very good corner shop for forgotten to buy and nick nacks, makes a very good have to make do.

I haven’t changed my mind on giving three stars for this store, still can’t get what I need in the clothes department. Never been into the food hall so can’t comment. I’ve just been into the food hall and shared a bacon and sausage bun, both were cold but the coffee was hot, should have placed them on top. Will not eat in there again.
Yep it’s as good as Sainsbugs get tbh, good selection of clothes decent enough cafe and not too busy during the week.
I’ve been shopping here and used the cafe upstairs many times and it’s a nice store, always clean and you can get everything you need from it. There is also an Argos inside this store which has now become my local Argos with their main stores closing down.
I’m a frequent visitor to the Sainsbury’s located in the Arnison shopping centre, Durham. The store upholds the high standards expected from the Sainsbury’s brand with an expansive variety of products, from fresh produce to wines, spirits, snacks, apparel, and more. However, a recent policy change dampened my enthusiasm for this particular branch. Much like Tesco’s approach, this Sainsbury’s now requires a membership to its reward program to avail discounts. This membership-centric discount policy is a primary reason I had previously distanced myself from shopping at Tesco’s.
I do love a supermarket. This has everything you would expect. Decent size car park, enough trolleys to go around. I’m not a fan of people but off peak shopping is a must to go in and shop without a shopping list. The toilets did the job and weren’t too gruesome! Simple enough to use the self service checkout but there were staff there too if you aren’t a fan.
