2 months agoPlenty of variety here, you can literally buy anything in here because of the Argos store inside, nice big shop, clean with friendly helpful staff. Would like to see more staff on the tills though, you don’t get the personal touch with self checkouts.a year agoCalled in looking for plants for garden. Big mistake as staff haven’t bothered to water any in store so most are dead. Very poor. Can’t believe nobody noticed they were dying or actually cares about what they are selling . Would advise against Sainsbury’s for plants or anything else for that matter if they have same level of care in rest of store. Avoid2 months agoThis cake was for my boyfriend’s mother and she loved it. The taste and decoration is really amazing.3 weeks agoGreat staff, great variety if you need ingredients and can’t find it anywhere else Sainsbury’s usually has it love this shop.a month agoVery, very expensive products poor quality foods and the lamb compared to ASDA’s is awful, definitely won’t be shopping at Sainsbury again, almost feel ripped off by quality and quantity considering the price of items in store, cleanliness of the self service tills area was shocking too

2 weeks agoMy go-to supermarket for groceries. A good Sainsbury’s superstore with nearly everything that you would want. They have good offers especially if you have the Nectar card to get Nectar points and offers. Smart shop enabled. Click & collect available. Loads of free parking spaces for customers.a month agoThis is the best -: meal deal, I’ve ever got from here, Sandwich / wraps also Caters for Vegetarians Snack Crisps Caters for Vegetarians Drinks Normal Soft Drinks and smoothies for vegetarians but Also Costa coffee machine You can have any Normal drink E.G. Espresso, Latte, Hot chocolate All this for £3:50 Absolutely Brilliant.4 months agoI really like the Tu clothing range. I’ve had a couple of brilliant jackets which always get compliments. The new nectar offers are good.a month agoIt’s never overly busy, but oddly, due to its layout, it is more interesting than most shops of similar type.4 months agoI didn’t like the way they have you self service. Then have a member or staff check your self service and then have a member of staff check your receipt 3 feet away while you scan it to get out of self service. If you are stop checked that is an illegal search accusing customers of theft and requires police presence.
The fact they are trying to make stoo searches standard practice is disgusting and a clear violation of the law in this specific store, and something I have never experienced in any other store nationwide

Sainsbury’s in Liverpool: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
Sainsbury’s has a number of rules that customers should be aware of while shopping in their stores. These rules are in place to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all customers and staff. Here are some important rules to remember:
1. Face masks: Due to COVID-19 safety regulations, it is currently mandatory for customers to wear face masks or coverings while inside any Sainsbury’s store. This is to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect both customers and staff.
2. One-way systems: Some Sainsbury’s stores have implemented one-way systems to help maintain social distancing. It is important to follow the directional signage and only travel in the indicated direction. This will help to minimize congestion and ensure everyone’s safety.
3. Social distancing: It is essential to maintain a safe distance of at least 2 meters from other shoppers and staff members while in the store. This may require waiting your turn at specific areas, such as the checkout or deli counter, to ensure the safety of everyone around you.
4. Contactless payments: Sainsbury’s strongly encourages customers to use contactless payment methods, such as card or mobile payments, rather than cash. This reduces the need for physical contact and helps to minimize the risk of spreading any germs or viruses.
5. Respect others: While shopping at Sainsbury’s, it is important to be considerate of others. This includes being patient, not blocking aisles, and giving way to others to maintain social distancing. It is also important not to engage in any aggressive or abusive behavior towards staff or fellow shoppers.
- Wear a face mask or covering at all times while in the store.
- Follow the one-way systems and directional signage.
- Maintain a safe distance of at least 2 meters from others.
- Use contactless payment whenever possible.
- Be considerate of others and respectful towards staff and fellow shoppers.

Those In the club vs the mugs out of the club
How can you justify the variation between what the mugs pay and what you charge for Nectar.
e.g. Cathedral City lighter cheese.
Mugs £4.75 for 353gm
Nectar card holders £2.75.
The mugs are obviously subsidising the Nectar card club members, or is your markup so outrageous so as to be able to support this insulting differential.
Best for fruit and veg but more expensive. Wish they’d cut down the bush next to the crossing on the way out of the car park….. doesn’t matter how slow you approach, some pedestrians just step out before looking. So drivers , be aware !
If you want travel money make sure you have plenty of time to waste as the process of extracting cash from here is painfully slow. Also order on line and collect as rate is much better, in-store rate is daylight robbery. Finally, I got refunded as the rate was so poor, funny they can debit a card in seconds but a refund is a teeth pullingly slow process with a wait of up to TEN days to get your money they took in seconds flat. In summary, go to Tesco, better rates and done and dusted in two minutes flat.
Great customer service when one of my vouchers didn’t work. Nice store with a good selection of groceries, clothes and homeware.
Not enough that they lay off most of their staff and replace them with machines, leaving you to pack yourself, you now have to scan your receipt to get out as well. After making you do all the work, now prove that you’re not a thief – the cheek!
