Went near closing time. Staff seemed just to want to go home. Took a few minutes to acknowledge us. Only tea/coffee and cake available.

Sainsbury’s is a highly recommended place to shop due to the overall quality of its offerings. The store is well-maintained and organized, making it easy to navigate through the different sections. One of the standout features of this location is the fresh juice machine, which produces delicious and high-quality orange juice that is a favorite of many customers, myself included.

While some shoppers may be disappointed by the limited availability of reduced-price items, it’s worth noting that this store still offers competitive pricing on a variety of products. Additionally, the high level of quality and freshness of the items sold at Sainsbury’s more than justifies the cost. Overall, Sainsbury’s is a great choice for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Staff always helpful, and go out of their way to help me. There is someone who works stacking veg, and he doesn’t look very happy at his job. I feel sorry for the bruised Fruit and veg the way he slams them in the crates. Surely this creates waste? Otherwise I always enjoy Sainsburys

Large store in a very nice location. The store itself is nice and well-organized, but it could have been much better. The bakery section is good, and they have a nice collection of flowers. The home section is pretty small though. The staff are nice and helpful. The parking area on the outside is massive. It is easy to reach by bus as well.

I usually visit this supermarket. It is quite big and you find a range of products. You can find clothes (for babies and adults), groceries, toys, home and decoration items, bakery, diy tools etc.

Staff are great and I always had a good experience there.

Parking is free and they do have wheelchair parking and parents and child parking.

I recommend going there for shopping.

Excellent store. Very large has everything in and is well stocked on the whole. Lots of parking. Has the ability to scan your shopping as you go. Is on the ring road so can be tricky getting out when you’re leaving.

A massive Sainsburys. It doesn’t always have shelves fully stocked, but most of the time they do. Some staff are cool but a couple of staff members stuck up there own noses. I’ve noticed a few times that they look down on customers, I wanted to intervene but didn’t want to create a big scene. They defiantly need training in PR. Lose a star for them clowns, otherwise would be 5 stars.

I would be giving 1 star if it wasn’t for some members of staff being really nice. But my issue is that some of the staff are extremely rude and not only me but other friends and family have had issues with customer service at this store. Mainly with employees being rude about their so called 1 way system and which door you should be entering and exiting from. They currently have a very confusing system where you have to scan your reciept to get out of the store and also another door where you can enter on the other side of the store to the main entrance. Despite the fact these doors OPEN when you are on the outside and there is nothing to suggest you cannot go through them that way, I’ve had a member of staff today, have a go at me for using the door. After I not so kindly told her to do one and made a scene, I left the store feeling very upset and angry that I’m a paying customer and deserve at least some basic respect and kind manners. I felt like I was provoked and therefore acted in a way where I was defending myself and I don’t think I should have to do that. Many people have issue with their one way system so I think it should be scrapped and they should also allow people to enter the store at the rear via the till points. Also when explaining how the system works and that customers aren’t allowed to use certain doors certain ways, there’s nothing wrong with explaining things kindly and making sure instructions are sign posted clearly to avoid confusion. I think the management team need to have a conversation with some members of staff and remind them that their job role entails providing good customer service and not patronising the people who pay their wages!!!! I would be shopping elsewhere if this wasn’t my closest store but unfortunately it is. Apologise to the staff who are actually helpful as the rude ones are giving your store a bad rep.

  1. Great checkout staff but the staff that replenish the shelves not so good
I take my 84 year old mother shopping and she was going to get some fish from the frozen section and about to open the refrigerator door and the male member of staff placed a box of products to put in the bit where she wanted to take something from so that she could not access the freezer
I brought this to his attention and he didn’t even acknowledge me and then bearing in mind that my mum uses a crutch to walk he waited till she walked away and stood directly in front of her
I get the impression that this was a racist act but better training and use of manners would be good.
    Going to try asda.

  2. Taste the difference. 21day matured British beef steak or a clog sole with segs nailed on? No, me neither. I didn’t buy this, just cooked and tried to eat it, even the cat baulked. The lesson is simple, if you want to buy meat, go to a proper butcher. Go to a supermarket for baked beans, biscuits and bog paper.

  3. Whilst shopping, the urge overcame me and I needed to use the facilities. The toilets in your store are a complete gip fest, the smell of stale urine so pungent it burns the back of your throat.

Needless to say I dumped my trolly and went to M&S to do my shop, heavens knows what you food hygiene rating is if you can’t keep your loo clean.

  4. Used the fuel station here as I discovered a slow puncture & needed the air pump. I don’t normally carry a wallet – fortunately I had it with me as the air & water is cashless/ card only…… for 50 pence. If I hadn’t had my wallet, I would have been stranded. People should have a choice at a business. Now my only choice is not use them again.
