Sainsbury’s Market are located in between Birmingham and Royal Sutton Coldfield. The place can be busy in peak hours, however it’s a high capacity car park, so that is easy to reach. There’s Argos in store and Sainsbury’s petrol station located nearby. Good place for shopping.

Went when it was dark, no lights outside and would not have got out of the car if I was on my own. Even then did not feel very safe. Will not be visiting when it is dark again.

I go here as a regular pass by shopping stop just around from the fort, there is a few more grocery speciality items in here and also an Argos which is convenient for me. And if you like there’s a Starbucks with a large seating area located just after the payment points.

For a new shop it’s great but lacks on the cafe plates and cups every where . Food wasn’t that great either small portions for the money you pay

Zero stars. What idiot designed the car park? You had over 20 years to get it right, and failed utterly. The roundabout was already a bottle neck before the new junction was added, perhaps an elementary course in planning is in order. No idea if the shop is any good, as by the time I got close enough to see the queue to get out I had decided that life was too short and it would be quicker to go to the one in Northfield. Zero stars

This new Sainsbury’s is a lovely shop with a good variety of essentials. Unfortunately, it is a nightmare to get out of the car park. Took me 20 minutes and it wasn’t even rush hour

Loads of convenient free parking. Trolleys are readily available. For me these two provisions are important considerations about where I shop. The store combines Habitat, Argos and Tu label clothing. There’s a good range of household products and clothes at moderate prices for every day use and wear. The food section is the main reason I choose to shop at this hyper store. There is a wide range of choices in terms of taste and affordability. Interestingly, there is an increasing range of halal and vegan/vegetarian food, a reflection perhaps of the cosmopolitan population in Birmingham. What about kosher? Prices are very good for the quality of products. Most have sell-by dates that allow for not having to shop every day. Have yet to experience the store’s restaurant or food hub. It’s popular, so probably that’s good too.

I sometimes shop here as they have some good value products but others are expensive so I am very careful. The in store Argos is useful. I was once persuaded to sign up for their credit card which was useless as it was all online and too complicated to use. On my last visit many staff were standing around chatting at the tills when customers were struggling to scan and pack their own shopping because there weren’t enough staff on the tills. They could invest more time and effort into welcoming and caring for their customers.

  2. Nice super store with ample parking.. Friendly staff and good variety of stuff you would expect from Sainsbury supermarket. The bunnies were looking very angry, they were super soft and perfect gift for a little one, no pun intended..

We had a stop for Argos too and as expected the staff was friendly and happy to help..

  3. There is a Lloyd’s pharmacy, Argos ,Timpson, and sainsbury Bank, and a cafe , toilet ,sainsbury fule Station and car wash, travel money, and Western Union . car park ,very nice children car park

  4. Visited Sainsbury’s in Oldbury initially to buy from Argos located within the store. Whilst there, I had a look around. The store was impressive and well stocked. Amazing range of clothing (must go back for a further browse). Did a food shop and bought a high quality habitat dinner set. Bargain!

  5. Wot can l say! This is my beloved SavaCentre and locals from the 80’s would remember it as such. It was probably one of the first hypermarkets in the West Mids. I remember going there in my dad’s old Escort (really old car) and it and everything you could ask for; food, clothing at the time, toys and lots of them. Good selection of food and they also sell small electrical items and gaming in addition to stationary. This also have a branch of Timpson. I would wholeheartedly recommend this branch of Sainsbury’s (Why break the habit of a lifetime; I still call it SavaCentre).
