Yes the shelves are stocked but it’s difficult to see what with? It’s quite obvious that standards have slipped, don’t they get taught anything about presentation? If it’s this shoddy here then I can fully understand other reviewers comments regarding staff attitudes and lack of customer service. Poor show Tesco, get your act together!

If I could give this place zero stars I would, the staff there are a complete joke. The day staff are mostly fine, it’s the night staff that is the problem. There is one security guard that works there (bald guy), all he does is flirt and chat with the staff, not actually doing his job. Plus he also has a bit of an attitude.

At the self checkouts, the employee is either on their phone or chatting with a co-worker, so it can take a while for them to help you, when you’re having a problem. Sometimes even during the day, you’ll see a random employee walking about with their face into their phone, not paying attention to where they’re going. Whether they’re on their break or not, it still doesn’t look good.

Sometimes at the self checkouts, you’ll get a bunch of staff just standing there, chatting away and it can be uncomfortable to go up and pay for your things.

They also like to close 15 to 5mins early, it says it closes at 12am so it should close at that time. They have said that they, close early because they don’t want someone coming in to do a big shop, i can understand that they just want to go home but it doesn’t look good for the company.

A sizeable Tesco with most of what you need, not the largest like Damestone but a decent size.

Covered parking, cash machines easy access and a branded coffee shop inside.

Never had to queue in here for long, self service or not, staff always seem friendly enough.

As with anything food prices going up a lot

This is a smallish store, however it still has lots of products worth buying at reasonable prices

Surprised to see all the bad reviews for this store. This is my local Tesco and I’ve always found it to be a good shopping experience. I suffer from severe anxiety and though I mostly rely on grocery deliveries I do use this store fairly regularly and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful, the shelves are well stocked, offers are marked clearly and for a smaller store, the range is pretty impressive with things such as lactose free milk, vegan options and even a Polish food section. Service is very fast and in 6 years of shopping I’ve rarely had to even queue, it’s always a quick trip, which is ideal for me.

Great store! A credit to the company.

It’s my local shop from nearly 13 years but day by day worse and worse, nothing on the shelves constant luck of products, very basic products choice, prefer travelling to Asda on the beach.

I wasn’t felt welcome to return my purchase. Costumer service needs to be improved.

  1. Nothing wrong with the store it self but I’m sure the staff likes to scare customers whiles stacking the shelves. Was passing the fruit and veg section tonight when a member staff slammed a crate on to the stand with unnecessary force just as my family and I was passing. Also noticed and walking passed him that he was looking at our directions. This is not the first time this happened, should really train your staff what kind of force that they stack the shelves with without scaring customers.

  2. I bought a 5kg Hom Mali rice from this store. When I opened up the bag a horrible smell came from it. I poured the rice into a container and nice big lumps of yellow rice came out.
Edit: The kind customer services got it sorted out and I received a refund but I still don’t have rice.🙂

  3. Absolute joke of a company. I’ve just visited the store but now want to speak to someone on the phone. Simple, right?

Not so. You get put on to a labyrinth of options, none of which take you to someone on the other end of a phone.

This country has gone to the dogs.

  4. Rude and unprofessional staff manning the lottery ticket / tobacco counter (28/07/23 @9pm). They leave customers hanging about while they chat amongst themselves then act like they are doing you a favour when they serve you on the counter. I was appalled at their arrogant and confrontational behaviour…….they know nothing about customer service

  5. My grandma had fallen in the alcohol section and the workers seen and beat her with a metal bat like the kid in the bathroom earlier that week, she is now a vegetable for life. Not pleasant behaviour.
