2 months agoShop nice big and airy Glad I wasn’t the one driving the parking is scary and the way out is on a hill so you need good clutch control 😂a month agoLovely staff and great variety. Prices are great too, easily accessible with 15min frequency buses by Tesco, and a car park6 months agoI live close to Tesco express bath and I am a regular customer. I have been issued a parking charge which is unfair as I have never parked there for 6 hours. I tried calling the Tesco helpline service which is really unhelpful as they simply ask to appeal the horizon parking service and see. It is only because I visit Tesco express that I go to that car park. This is really putting me off Tesco’s now. Horrible way to treat customers.Edited: I had to appeal to the horizon parking and they have acknowledged there has been a mistake and have cancelled the parking charge. While I am relieved with this, this does not take away all the stress it has caused me. I am still going to be cautious of going to Tesco’s:(
a month agoOverpriced and not all employees are friendly2 years agoI visited here a few months ago and it was a great experience. Staff seemed to be actually taking the situation seriously, with someone handing out clean baskets and managing numbers in store.Unfortunately, this all seems to have gone out of the window. On a more recent visit I was surprised to see at least 25% of adult customers not wearing masks. I appreciate some people can’t wear masks for health reasons, but this seemed like a very high number of people without masks and no-one was making any attempt to monitor this. There was no person at door checking or limiting customer numbers, many people were not socially distancing, the one-way system has been thrown to the wayside, and the store seemed chronically understaffed. Baskets are just circulated, and there’s a sad little abandoned sanitizing station.
The only positive note was that all the staff appeared to be wearing masks. If you value your health, I’d recommend shopping elsewhere.

a year agoA great little shop right next to the canal with a good range of products. Perfect location for canal users and plenty space for mooring up boats near to the shop so if your on a canal holiday this would be a good place to stop. I only needed a drink I found what I wanted and payed at the tobacco counter as I am uncomfortable with the machines and rely on the sale from a member of staff. I do feel the drinks should have been near the front of the shop to make it easier for those just after a drink when walking or cycling the canal path without having to go right to the back of the shop.4 years agoStruggling to find things for the kids lunches when they started back at school. Had help from young chap, think he may have been the manager. Very pleasant and couldn’t do enough to help.3 months agoCloses at 9. They also need a pay point so people can top up their gas and electric without having to walk into town. Also need longer opening hours

Tesco in Bath: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at Tesco, there are a few rules to keep in mind to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for everyone in the store. These rules are in place to maintain order, promote cleanliness, and prioritize the safety of shoppers and employees. It is important to be mindful of these rules to create a positive shopping environment.
- Follow social distancing guidelines: Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from other shoppers and employees at all times.
- Wear a face mask: As per government regulations, it is mandatory to wear a face mask while inside the store, unless you are exempt.
- Observe store capacity limits: In order to allow for social distancing, stores may have a maximum capacity. If there is a queue outside the store, be patient and wait for your turn to enter.
- Respect one-way systems: Many Tesco stores have implemented one-way systems in aisles to manage the flow of customers. Follow the designated routes and do not go against the flow.
- Use contactless payment methods: Whenever possible, use contactless payments or card transactions to minimize contact with surfaces.
- Be considerate to others: Avoid unnecessary touching of items, and only pick up products that you intend to purchase. Respect other shoppers’ personal space and be patient while waiting in line.
- Keep children under control: If shopping with children, ensure they are supervised and follow the rules. Discourage them from touching displays or products unnecessarily.
- Do not consume food or drink in-store: To prevent the spread of germs, consuming food and drink within the store premises is not permitted.
By abiding by these rules, you can contribute to a safe and respectful shopping experience at Tesco. It is important to remember that these rules may vary slightly between different Tesco locations, so it is always a good idea to check for any additional guidelines or procedures that may be in place at your specific store.

Well located in the city centre a good sized shop not supermarket, clubcard prices are good. Service is ok unless busy also has self checkout too
Great shop and staff except for when they are closed around 6:50 to recieve deliveries as soooo frustrating when you’re on your way to work , you just need to pick up a few items and then lock the doors
Have been Received bad customer service by almost all of them.
Usually policed by security, this Tesco is quite small and cramped for its usual customerbase. There’s a decent amount in the shop, but often lacks things as basic as sandwiches which haven’t yet been delivered. Staff are friendly, however.
Lots of choice for small store. Friendly staff and quick check out
