One of the scanned self checkout doesn’t issue a receipt which I found out after I paid. When I left, one of the staff ran towards me to say I haven’t paid. While I was still in the store I checked my online banking and found I’ve paid twice. Told the same staff that and was told to go to customer service. The girl said, it’s common the refund will be returned the next day. That did not happened. Went back, a different staff insist I have my receipt before I get my money, bear in mind the machine didn’t issue me one. In the end I asked for the manager and finally got my refund after showing proof of my bank details. Disgusting how I had to go through that for their mistake.

Went to shop on Saturday morning. Absolute shambles cages and empty boxes everywhere.. the aisles are not marked showing people where to go to get certain items, so disorganised. Will not be going back agaiin

Always plenty of stock and alternative options, just don’t go at obvious times (after work, during the day on a weekend) Saturday night about 8 is class, not a soul in the place, you can park right up at the door in the sweet spot by the trollies.

Can’t account for the clientele trying to climb up the back of you to get 10p off a pack of ham, but you can’t put that on Tesco.

In store cafe is great, if a bit pricey for what it is and reduced sections are a bit jaded with original reps.

You can have a good sit down toilet without being bothered too much, facilities are clean and well stocked.

    *Large and spacious.

I visit this Tesco regularly and really like it. It is all on the ground floor, very spacious, with a large selection of goods.

Staff are always nice and accommodating.

Toilets: adequate and clean though Tescos are not known for having excellent toilet facilities.

Car Parking: very large, plenty of spaces. However, as with so many supermarket car parks, many of the ‘accessible’ spaces are taken by non-accessible people which is unfair on people like me who never take up such spaces.

The bigger Tesco stores are usually way better anyway.

But every time we go here, we have nothing but good experiences. We really enjoy walking around, doing casual grocery shopping.

The staff are nice and very fast at the checkouts. We really have no complaints about this Tesco.

The lady that served us this afternoon was absolutely fantastic. Really pleasant and a credit to the store. Best customer service we’ve experienced in a long time! Didn’t catch her name but she folded all our clothes perfectly :). Thank you!

Declined recently – most of the times I have visited recently there are no checkouts open but lots of staff picking orders for online customers, even during the “accessible” Wednesday morning hours aimed at vulnerable customers. The independent butcher has closed. It’s still a typical Tesco with most things you need but be prepared to use the self checkouts and don’t fill a trolley if you are someone who shops early.

Don’t train their staff, they employ a buddying system. Also the fat man bun guy with weird teeth and lips is crazy. Bro was screaming at a younger employ the week after his dad died and made the employee quit 💀 also, the short stubby fat blonde woman with a weird accent is so rude at the reduced aisle

  1. I absolutely have got to detest this store. The shopping experience is horrendous. The shelves are empty, very little choice. Prices go up daily, no two stores have the same prices. When you get the meagre offerings you have to join queues of up to 21 people to self pay. This is just another way for Tesco’s to add to their bumper profits. 21 people in a queue and 5 staff standing talking about what they had done the night before.
    Absolutely disgusting.

  2. It’s getting very expensive and now this morning they’ve completely closed the hot food deli and before you could’ve bought sliced cooked meat and ham from the deli counter and now they have stopped all that. It’s getting worse to shop here and I’m thinking of going somewhere else.

  3. Everything you need for your daily essentials. I find tesco pretty consistent with the way things are set up. Never any problems with service and staff always friendly as well as helpful. Got to shop.

  4. Always poorly stocked , staff have little or no interest. Tesco’s in general are very good but this branch in particular is a mess.

  5. Big store and almost everything you need in groceries you will get here. Never disappointed. Nice and friendly staff.
