6 years agoGreat Store. Has lots of food items, especially an around the world section. Bakery is always full, and there is a deli counter and hot chickens counter. The shelves are always well stocked and the clothing range is brilliant. They have an optician, pharmacy, Photo shop, Tesco mobile shop and plenty of home wares, toys and greeting cards/items. It is an all in one shop and there are lots of good items on sale throughout the year. They have toilets at the front of the store and upstairs in the cafe. Nice wide aisles for buggy/wheelchair accessibility. Excellent parking, always find a space. On site 24 hour petrol station which is great for those early morning or late night refueling.4 months agoThat its joke Tesco make enough money to change the baby seats !!! From clothes to all the usual supermarkets items, this place is incredibly big. You might feel overwhelmed by all the stuff8 months agoGo inside TESCO. Then, go straight ahead to the pharmacy. In there, your start your journey looking each corridor for the REDUCED stuff. That is the only thing your should buy on that store, and depending on your needs as well. Jeopardised prices compared to similar places, prefer ICELAND or LIDL. To any end, go for the REDUCED Рyellow sticker, and that is it. Moreover, do not forget your members card, because without it you will pay double price for something that is already expensive.4 months agoUsual large store, with excellent cafe and chemist departments. Great food choices both in store and in caf̩.

2 weeks agoAlthough currently shopping at this store is a nightmare due to refurbishment I want to say a member of staff called Scott was so helpful when I wanted to purchase some chippings. He came and lifted them into my trolley and when I had paid for them he came out to my car and lifted them in for me.2 months agoI was having trouble with my Tesco Mobile Phone. The phone would not charge! I went along to Tesco at Golden Hill for some advice. Thinking that I would need to buy a new phone. (I have had my current one for sometime) The young man there asked if I had brought the lead along as well as the phone. I had. He then said lets see where the problem is. After a few seconds he was able to assure me that the problem lay with the lead NOT the phone. He asked me if I would like him to show me where in the store I could purchase a new lead. I was very impressed with this service. He showed me where and which lead I needed. The cost £6. I was delighted.On reflection I realised that this young man could have told me that the phone was ‘passed it’s sell by date’ and I needed to buy a new phone. But he was very helpful and sorted the problem at very little cost.
What service! In this day and age we are all too quick to complain about something and not quite so eager to give praise where it is due.
Well Done Tesco Mobile. Keep up the good work! I would have no hesitation in recommending friends to this company if they needed a Mobile Phone. . Regards

2 months agoQuite a nice Tesco. Good amount of parking spaces. There is a costa inside the tesco to the left hand side of the entrance, toilets and a teaco mobile sales area. Tobacco and lottery kiosk is to the right of the entrance. Store has plenty of produce and always seems to be well stocked. Good variety of offers available. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and are quick on the self checkouts if you need assistance. Store is clean and tidy.3 months agoHave been a committed Tesco customer for many years. They may not always be as cheap as Aldi or Lidl but they stock what I want. Plus I have enjoyed many discounted Pizza Express meals courtesy of the clubcard points.6 months agoI want like to say what perfect customer service the young man working at the phone shop had this afternoon. He kept apologising as he was occupied with another customer but it wasn’t a to long of a wait. He then helped me with a IPhone I needed for my son and was very professional. I did look at his name badge but now Iv totally forgot but was there around 3.20pm this Friday afternoon. He definitely deserves acknowledgement from the managers to say Well Done 😊

I had the opportunity to visit Tesco today. I visit it regularly and usually the shopping experience is pleasant. Unfortunately, today while checking out with a product (beef), I noticed that the promotional price did not apply. I reported it to a staff member, who immediately accused me of being a fraud. Even after I showed them the spot where I took the meat from, the staff member still insisted that nothing could be done. When the team leader arrived, the situation became more serious. I was still considered guilty and accused of not being able to read what was written. Even though the staff couldn’t find any meat at the promotional price, they accused me and other customers of mixing up products, especially since there were around 50 pieces of beef and a big “clearance” sign. I have never been and will never be a thief, and I certainly won’t support such fraud. Unfortunately, being treated in such a way is not worthy of any person. I have lost respect and trust to this store and Teco brand. Fortunately, there are other stores that value their customers
I was served by Jed Hillier on the phone section today. What a friendly and helpful Man, a credit to the company. Give him a payrise !
Great store for shopping. It has various items that are needed for everyday living, plus items for when setting up a new home. I like it’s fresh fruits and vegetables and it’s where I go to buy dairy-free products. The expense is pushing people elsewhere. But I still go there for my favourites.
Are there any cleaners in this Store ? After ignoring multiple times I thought maybe try posting and someone take notice how filthy the store is and no one looks after the hygiene / cleaning of the store.
We all know the staff is not at all helpful here . I mean seriously no one cares to try help the customers. But atleast you can keep the store clean
Today on the 3rd August 2023 at 720pm I witnessed both the filling station staff making homophobic slurs towards a customer after they left the shop. I can’t find a way to talk to staff directly on the phone so can’t take this further but I was very disappointed in this behaviour. Please get in touch with me about making a statement.
