Can’t beat a cheeky Tesco meal deal

Pity they charge more if you don’t have a Clubcard but moot point given I have one, just not a very nice practice

Can’t fault the meal deal though. Know exactly what your getting for a decent £3.40

My husband and I had totally tastless paninis. I had ordered cheese and ham – hardly any ham and the cheese was minimal. They were also given to us with no knifes or napkins. Had to go and ask for them. Will I go back – no

Worst staffed Tesco in west central Scotland. We were in yesterday (Sunday) and one checkout was open & it was busy, absolutely hopeless store.

Was reporting an old man hanging about the urinals in the mens public toilets doing dirty things to himself to the security when a wee horror with a stinking attitude and a voice like a banshee called Amy working on the front desk, came running up to the side of the desk with an absolutely stinking attitude shouting at the top of her voice “you’s cannae be there”! She had absolutely no idea why we were at security and didn’t seem interested in even wanting to ask! Absolutely disgusting behavior stick to your own job and stop interfering in other people’s business when we are trying to make the store a safer place!

It has a fantastic range of products. The entrance is separate from the main shopping centre and has an easy way to enter for wheelchair access. Loads of parking too for disabled drivers and has a petrol garage situated near the car park at a reasonable price. It is open 24 hours for convenience.

Best bet to avoid a parking fine is to jump on an Uber to get to and from this place. This place is 24 hrs! Lots of good deals and great selections. They have a back to school section, an alcohol section, a frozen section and many more.

The section for tesco parking was bigger than I thought. I was sure I parked in the red zone turned out I didn’t and got hit with a £70 parking fine. Before anyone says it’s clearly sign posted I was 4 spaces away from the red zone which I was convinced I turned away from the tesco area. Anyway after paying the charge I decided never going to tecso again. No mean much to a massive company like them but so far I’ve spent around £300 in asda and morrisons this month instead and cancelled the home insurance with them. Every little helps ✌️

This is my favourite Tesco – it’s huge and usually quiet if you go later at night. It’s got a huge F&F section and there’s a really wide range of fruit and veg. We usually do our big Christmas shop here at the start of December, as there are always good Clubcard prices on spirits and wines and the range is great.

The parking is decent but you can’t always use it for shopping in Silverburn – there’s a time limit.

Also, they’ve just built a Decathlon inside – I’ve not seen this when it’s been open so I’m intrigued to see what it adds to the store.

Having just returned from both Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis and Northern Ireland , I’m astounded at the variation in diesel fuel prices, between both islands and the mainland, mainly by Tesco and Sainsbury’s ! I filled my car at Tesco Glasgow on Monday and paid £1.45p per litre , only to discover that Tesco in N. Ireland offer the same fuel at a whopping low price of £1.34p per litre and I hasten to add Tesco we’re not the cheapest by a long shot, as £1.32p per litre was on offer at numerous filling stations ! I have contacted both Tesco and Sainsbury’s requesting their reasoning behind such increases being levied on the people of Glasgow, when the tankers travelling to the Islands have addition road and ferry charges, which should not warrant such price differences, I’m still awaiting the feeble “EXCUSES” from Tesco and Sainsbury’s When one looks at the price difference per litre, it would appear relatively insignificant, mainly due to the EU changing the pricing structure from price per Gallon to Litres , however on this occasion the price differences are approximately 45 pence per Gallon , which in my mind both Tesco and Sainsbury’s cannot justify ! It would appear that, this is nothing less than profiteering from the drivers living on the mainland. It’s time the drivers of Scotland stood up to these “Fat Cats” and voted with their feet and supported their local independent filling station and perhaps a more even playing field would be adopted by these large multi national chains ! I’ll certainly be looking at my trading with these supermarkets, as if they can inflate fuel prices that high on the mainland, what inflated prices are we ALL paying for food ?

  1. Monstrosity of a store located on Maryhill Road. Lots of parking at the rear of the building, bus stop to the front of the store. As well as in store cafe there are number of non Tesco stores on the ground floor including a dentist, Greggs and a charity shop. This branch has recently introduced parking restrictions.

  2. Always easy to get a parking space. Out of typical peak times it’s pretty fast for serving and usually very well stocked. Good size of branch for a full week shopping

  3. Love this store! Big and airy with plenty of room in the aisles. Lots of choice on the shelves. Staff always so helpful and friendly!

  4. Good store very helpful staff on customer service but please remind your staff to dress appropriately one guy has his butt hanging out at the back his belly hanging out the front he clearly was wearing wrong size of clothes we don’t need to see everything thank you it is not a pleasant site

  5. Tesco extra has fresh and high quality products at a relatively moderate price.
It’s accessible for everyone and mostly my one stop shop where I buy almost everything I need from
