3 months agoA fairly large Tesco offering a wide variety of products. The shop includes a pharmacy, clothing department, mobile phone shop, cafe, Yo! Sushi counter, Vision Express opticians and a Max Spielmann photo shop. There is also a photo booth and change machine next to the customer toilets at the end of the tills.This shop seems to be undergoing a significant transformation at the moment with sections of the shop (including the entire upstairs floor) boarded off.
There are plenty of parking spaces available, with a decent amount of disabled and ‘parent and child’ spaces available near the shop entrance.
4 months agoNothing personally with the shop but there are not enough side walks, I walked over with my sister ages 9 and (me 20) I saw a man in his car letting us walk by. Whoever that was didn’t let us walk by completely he almost ran over my sister I pulled her as quickly as I could if I didn’t in time it wouldv’e ended in disaster. I cussed so loud at the man I wanted to brake his car he does not deserve to drive and you people be careful with kids on the road especially here! What a ridiculous place to live for too long.a month agoNot impressed with the new anti theft trolleys that lock the wheels as you exit the store, I almost ended up inside the trolley with my shopping as the trolley I was pushing came to a very sudden and unexpected dead stop. Being treated like a thief is not a pleasant experience Tesco Cardiff Road.2 months agoGreat store. It is what it is. Customer service lets it down by allowing customers to take up time doing scratch cards/ lottery.2 months agoIf you have an accident in the store be prepared for all staff to ignore you. If you want to make a complaint you are told by the manager that he can not help you.

3 months agoGood petrol station with plenty of pumps, although there can be queues at busier times. The prices are usually fairly competitive with other petrol stations in Newport. The kiosk is well stocked and the staff are generally friendly. There is an ATM on site (next to the kiosk), along with the usual air, water and vacuum (behind the kiosk). The petrol station has a manual car wash as well as an automated car wash, although these not always open.2 years agoTESCO Cardiff Rd Newport. Turn off their on site street lights to save money then enhance the danger by leaving on a very bright advertising sign. There’s a three way roundabout in the darkness Health and safety !!!a year agoI am disgusted with Tesco whose slogan “every little helps” fills me with even more distrust as each day goes by. Tesco Harlech Newport, unleaded petrol £170.9 per litre. Tesco Ebbw Vale £160.9 per litre. That is 10p per litre more than its other store and to be frank disgraceful. i have shopped less and less at Tesco’s over the last year as I see that “every little helps” just means increasing their profits at our cost.a year ago1st to put prices up but very slow to reduce typical Tesco! Lovely staff though. Wouldn’t give me the price of petrol over the phone, not allowed, says it all.a year agoGood petrol station, most pumps are usually working and pay at pump which makes life easier with kids in the car. 2 car washes, one automatic and one manual, automatic car wash does a good job and accepts contactless payments.

Very nice Tesco.Well stocked and has multiple different shops inside and integrated around it.
Large modern store with ground floor parking and a moving staircase up to shops and eating places including Tesco’s. Just about everything sold in this large store.
A very large Tesco selling a wide variety of items, including a large home and clothing section. The shop itself is based on the first floor, above a large car park. There are stairs, a trolley escalator and lifts providing access to the first floor.
There are also a variety of other smaller shops inside the building, including a Card Factory, Greggs, Subway, opticians, betting shop, charity shop.
There is a large car park under the shop with disabled spaces and ‘parent and child’ spaces near the entrance.
Large store with ample parking, in-store cafe several other businesses within the store and a wide selection of products
The Tesco here provides a lot of consumer products with relatively appealing prices and an abundance of stock constantly worked and out on the shelves. However, the waiting times when using the services at Tesco as well as the management can be its downside.
