Just been in was practically finished scanning and had shopping bagged when an item was coming up at wrong price, said to assistant he told me you’ll need to do that at the till, sobo said its ok I’ll leave them. He said no do them at the till and then wiped all the stuff I had scanned of telling me no take them to the till. No I did not want to unpack a full bag of shopping, put it back in the basket and start all over again. That is not making shopping easier for customers. As someone who needs to use a stick it is hard enough shopping without making things more difficult.

Give this place a 5 star attended tonight and the security guard Nathan from amberstone security was very friendly and made me laugh he showed me around and helped me decide what to get for my girlfriend for valentine and also helped me carry my shopping to my car which was a bonus. Top guy will be coming back here because of him

Whilst the food is great as usual, sadly the attitude of the delivery driver was much to be desired. Must be having a bad day

Does not stock everything a large Tesco does. Mainly a top up local shop

Love this store. Local and good accessible parking. Just be careful of dodgy ‘companies’ giving out parking tickets. They don’t leave sticker….no they are much more deviant. A letter comes within days. A big guy in black sneaks about and takes photos before you return. Horrible. So be mindful not to overstay! Tesco staff are friendly and always handy to help if required. Good selection for a smaller store and the prices are decent especially when you have a Clubcard because you get special deals. Yellow sticker alert! Open til 11pm seven days a week. Flowers/plants, cards, lottery and fresh bread available too so yeh, great store that’s handy and open late 👍

  1. First of all this store has only one and such a badly entrance into the site despite having access to two different streets.
Also it has such a lazy personal in the evenings. No one interested to leave their important discussion in order to open at least one lane for the customers. You have to scan yourself and use a small shelf good only for a hand basket. If you have many products you just need to leave the ones that can’t fit on the shelf. I took the time to arrange everything from my basket to fit in an fragile balance. Some employees clearly saw me but didn’t bother.

  2. I come in here regularly as I love local. Lovely staff, always polite and willing to help. A young lass called aiesha was very helpful when I was having trouble looking for something, Patrick at the desk is always polite. Overall, my go to place to shop

  3. Lovely clean store. My local store good range of items stocked but not a superstore by any means but still has 99% of what a household needs. N.B. Has self-serve petrol station on site

  4. I’ve just come back from Tesco, Penwortham and probably I won’t be shopping there again. The shop is nice and clean but the prices from today are high-rocking, it’s so expensive. I’d instead shop in the local, Polish or Bulgarian shops than from TESCO Penwortham. The food in Spain is much cheaper than in England.

The aim of my review today was a bad experience with one young lady who’d worked on self-service machines. She is a young, short person with black hair and an oval face. I asked her politely if she could change £10 into £1 or £2 coins. She answered me rudely as her face was growing red and her eyes were lively opening. The answer was that she could not do it for me if I wanted to have the money changed I needed to go where is customer service desk and wait. More than 10 people were waiting, she could have gone to the till and just change them, easy and it was 30 sec. job.
Moreover, her other colleagues had not had her problem because many times when I asked them for the same thing, they were happy to help me get this £10 in small coins. Obviously, she has anger issues which she needs to fix. I liked the shop and the car parking, it has a suitable petrol station but I am not for making fun of me. Tesco keeps hiring untrained people who are disrespectful to the customers. She can have this behaviour at home with her family but in the workplace with the customers, she must apologise and take care of the cusmore.
I will be spending my money somewhere else.

  5. I pop in here almost daily on my way to work. The staff are always friendly and helpful. A few of them know my youngest son Tadgh, and they stop to chat to him they always greet him so warmly. He loves the attention. We are so lucky to have this store on our doorstep
