I buy today and cook it, it’s not chicken breast, it’s minced meat, but the meat is altered. Smel orible, of rotten meat. He throws it away. Don’t buy anything precooked

The toilets in this store have been broken for going on FOUR MONTHS. A lot of vulnerable people frequent this store with their caters to buy lunch and need to use these facilities. It’s a disgrace they haven’t been fixed

It works 7 am to midnight. It has almost everything. Good staff. Well stocked. Good range of wines, breakfast foods, groceries and even simple clothing and some kitchen ware. Lots of fruit and vegetables.

The younger staff in there are brill, older staff however made me feel absolutely tiny and uncomfortable. They intimated me with security because I wanted to buy an energy drink. Don’t have my id but I’m a full grown adult with a bread and 2 kids it’s ridiculous I feel for the young staff that need to put up with the older jobsworth people. It’s embarrassing

    Won’t be coming back

Good place to shop for food and clothes and also has a chemist. I don’t like how narrow the aisles are as they get very busy on a Friday and Saturday.

How to Shop Smart at Tesco Scotland: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at Tesco is a straightforward and convenient experience. Whether you are a first-time shopper or a regular customer, the following guidelines will help you make the most out of your shopping trip:

  • Plan ahead: Before heading to Tesco, make a list of the items you need to purchase. This will help you stay organized and save time in-store.
  • Check for offers: Tesco regularly runs promotional offers and discounts on various products. Take a look at the Tesco website or leaflets to see if any of the items on your list are on offer.
  • Choose your store: Tesco has different types of stores, ranging from smaller Express stores to larger Extra stores. Consider which store is most convenient for you in terms of location and product availability.
  • Use the Tesco app: Tesco has a mobile app that allows you to browse offers, create shopping lists, and even order groceries for home delivery or store pick-up. Download the app to enhance your shopping experience.
  • Bring your own bags: Tesco charges for single-use carrier bags, so it’s a good idea to bring your own reusable bags to save money and reduce plastic waste.
  • Navigate the store: Tesco stores are divided into sections for different categories of food and household items. Take note of the signs and labels to easily locate the products you need.
  • Compare prices and options: Check the shelves for different brands and sizes of products to find the best value for money. Tesco offers a wide range of choices, so take your time to compare before making a decision.
  • Check expiry dates: Before placing perishable products in your shopping cart, make sure to check the expiry dates. Tesco typically displays these dates clearly on the packaging.
  • Pay attention to promotions: Tesco often has special deals like “buy one, get one free” or “buy more, save more.” Keep an eye out for these promotions as they can help you save money on your shopping.
  • Don’t forget the essentials: Along with your list, make sure to include any essential non-food items you may need, such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, or pet food.
  • Checkout and payment: When you’ve finished shopping, head to the checkout area. You can opt for self-checkout machines or queue at a staffed till. Tesco accepts various payment methods, including cash, debit/credit cards, and mobile payments.

By following these guidelines, shopping at Tesco can be a smooth and enjoyable experience. Whether you’re looking for groceries or household items, Tesco offers a wide variety of products to meet your needs.

  1. Monstrosity of a store located on Maryhill Road. Lots of parking at the rear of the building, bus stop to the front of the store. As well as in store cafe there are number of non Tesco stores on the ground floor including a dentist, Greggs and a charity shop. This branch has recently introduced parking restrictions.

  2. Always easy to get a parking space. Out of typical peak times it’s pretty fast for serving and usually very well stocked. Good size of branch for a full week shopping

  3. Love this store! Big and airy with plenty of room in the aisles. Lots of choice on the shelves. Staff always so helpful and friendly!

  4. Good store very helpful staff on customer service but please remind your staff to dress appropriately one guy has his butt hanging out at the back his belly hanging out the front he clearly was wearing wrong size of clothes we don’t need to see everything thank you it is not a pleasant site

  5. Tesco extra has fresh and high quality products at a relatively moderate price.
It’s accessible for everyone and mostly my one stop shop where I buy almost everything I need from
