a month agoThere is a girl, and I wonder if she reads. We shared an intense experience in Southampton Library. For me, well, I thought I was imagining things, I wasn’t though, and ahh, I wished I didn’t leave like I did. I remember you, I remember your movements, breathing, eyes, groans, and how you stretched your t-shirt. Heh, I remember that other girl catching you, and you just carried on. Rawr, how I wished I stayed, you got me so heated, we connected, but, in truth, it scared me! Heck! It was quite unexpected, naughty library girl, you gave me an unforgettable memory…If you are reading this, I’ll be there again, each Wednesday 😍6 months agoBusy as normal because of location ques move pretty fast, friendly staff, shop clean & tidy3 months agoVery busy and sells a lot of things without going into the m.ain store2 years agoFriendly staff, the option to pay at the pump option which is really good with the COVID-19 and the need for social distancing and keeps everyone safe. Staff are willing to help those with hidden disabilities and disabilities. Staff will also step in when other customers start to get angry with those who have hidden disabilities and are not able to tolerate wearing a mask as much as they would like to. They treat everyone equal as wella year agoFuel and shop are pretty average Tescos, but for the love of God when if ever will you address your airline issues?!….its a £1 a time and constantly fails and restarts, it actually dropped the tyre pressure 3 times before inflating, when I asked at the kiosk if someone could help, they told me they had been having issues for MONTHS!…end result…I drove across the road to Shell, which is where I should have gone in the first place. No excuses Tescos…this is just general lack of maintenance.

a month agoA very useful shop. Helpful and friendly staff, a wide range of products and late opening all go to making this an essential service in Winchester. Well done Tesco!7 months agoGood range of products, scrupulously clean, friendly helpful staff. Just a pity they don’t stock fancy breads from the Winnall bakery.4 years agoGreat store, exceptionally friendly staff and well stocked. Not sure why the planners/Tesco neglected to put bike racks in front of the store, but the staff will let you leave your bike in the doorway whilst you shop… Never experienced any queues and the self service machines are perfect if you’re grabbing just a quick pint of milk.3 years agoFor a tiny store they have a lot. I was especially impressed with their gluten free section which is more impressive than M&S. They even have gluten free tortillas. Produce is decent too. And they even have healthy juices.3 years agoIf possible, then avoid… It charges 10.35% above RRP(Recommended Retail Price) on 90%of its items, seriously takes the mickey, and its not just this outlet, I’ve noticed as a “secret shopper” that this seems to be the policy in most of its outlets across the UK, if I was you I’d pop round the corner to Sainsbury

I really do not want to write a bad review because I am glad that we have a Tesco better than none I suppose but the parking is an utter nightmare with hardly ever space for parents and childrens parking. It’s very difficult to open the car door and get a wriggly toddler out of the car whilst at the same time making sure not to touch the neighbouring car, besides walking up with a little one all the way from the back is not easy either.
The issue is more that people WITHOUT children use the parking allocated for parents with children and that is quite….well so am lost for words.
In any case, the check out system is quite remarkable in itself with over 20 check out points and in over 6 years have I never seen more (not even during the busy CHRISTMAS period) than 5 being occupied by staff.
The question is why building (I just checked!) almost 30 check out points?
The excuse of COVID is getting old.
So sad because the selection of products is ok and good when it comes to cleaning products.
A very large store within easy reach of the main roads. Access to the main car park is located further away and you will need to follow the signs for the exit. The entrance to the store is on a narrow part of the car park. The store itself is big and has a pharmacy, Vision express opticians, bakery, self service instant photo printing and a Costa upstairs. There are plenty of self service checkouts as well as attended checkouts. The store is larger than usual and seems to have many more facilities than other stores.
A petrol station and electric vehicle charging available, charging is provided by PodPoint. Charging bays are sometimes used by non EV drivers and didn’t seem to be monitored.
Disgusted they have closed the fresh fish counter. Another item we are being forced to accept plastic wrapped prepackaged goods. Even worse today Management have tried to hide this behind a wall of beer and chocolate crates. Access around this area is very restricted especially when the Isles are crowded with staff filling home shopping crates.
Every time I go in these days I feel like a criminal between staff doing trolly checks to the wheels of trollies locking up when you leave the store. Come on Aldi or Lidl open a shop this side of Winchester! Your shopping experience has to be better than Tesco!
Car Park is now under construction and no longer big enough for the size of the store. Public can’t part and cars getting damaged.
