Very nice place for boating (one,two or a family up to four)! Right next to Kelly park but you don’t need to spend $5 to enter the Kelly park. You can bring your own water bottles and some light snacks when baiting. Need reservation for the glass boat (provided by a different company). Also bring your own insect repellent if closeting to sunset. Highly recommended
We did the 8:30am Emerald Cut tour. The time was perfect as we beat the crowds. Nigel was our tour guide, and he was the absolute best. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went with my 2 grown children and my 6yr old. Nigel was awesome with my little one right off the bat. Halfway through the tour, he even offered to take my double kayak if I got too tired (but I managed). It was definitely a pleasant and relaxing experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Wow, what a morning we had here. My wife and I signed up for the emerald cut morning tour, departing at 0830. We were greeted by the tour guide and after a quick instruction session, launched into the river. The paddle was lovely, scenic and so peaceful. Our tour guide, Owen, was superb and explained everything from the history of the park to pointing out special plants and swimming spots. He was also great at taking pictures for us. I would definitely recommend this excursion and will return when we are back in Florida!
Top things: Tour guide knowledge; saw wildlife (otters and owl); crystal clear water with beautiful swimming spots; good quality rental equipment.
Top tips: early morning tour was great as the river was quiet and peaceful, as we returned at about 1030/1100 it was starting to get busy. Tour guide trip recommended if first time visitor. Free parking is available on the road outside king’s landing.
A must see/do experience when in the area or even little further out. The views are simply amazing and they are combine with a nice workout. Fun for the whole family from young to old. Plenty of places on the stretch to dip and swim a little. Crystal clear waters that will wake you up and make you feel refreshed in the Florida heat. Staff very friendly and patient with customers. Kayaks pretty well taken care off. Keep up the great work.
Loved it! We did the Emerald Cut 2 hour guided tour. Our tour guide Kim was great. So much fun, very personable and knowledgeable. We will definitely be come back for more both guided and self. Thank you all for giving us an amazing adventure at such a beautiful spot.
