- Reviews:This Walmart location, its employees, and the community experienced a terrible tragedy. Afterward, the location was closed for several months and remodeled, which was needed even before this event occurred. I love that they included a memorial for all of the employees who lost their lives here. The remodel is nice and definitely gave this Walmart an update. The branding on the walls and visual display areas are fantastic. There has been an increase in the number of self checkout areas that are nicely spaced. They even have marked areas on the floor for a suggestion of where to put your cart to make self check out easier. The one thing I didn’t like was how the clothing areas are set up. There were a lot of small, closed in sections, making it feel like a maze. The inclusion of a “grab & go” area at the front, almost like a convenience store, is another nice touch.By Alyssa Saldivar (2 months ago)It’s nice to see Walmart reopened. Everything now (as of 20 April, 2023) looks different from the last time I went. My condolences goes to the ones we lost on the day of the shooting and to the families as well.By Kareem Emotion (2 months ago)I shop here because it’s location is convenient for me. They have great prices on a large variety of items. I would not shop here alone after dark. Some employees here seem unhappy and bothered if you ask for help. I love the self check out option at this store. If I go thru a person cashier, I may get a hello, and rarely ever get a thank you. I’m updating my review from 5 years ago. Leaving my initial review in tact. I’ll first say it’s sad that it took a tragedy to turn this store into a better workplace and shopping experience. Peace and healing to all the families affected. I’m updating from 3 to 5 stars. I found the reopened store to be clean, stocked, easy to shop, and friendlier than before. The open ceiling, displays, and taller aisles give it a modern look. It also feels much safer to shop at any hour. I did see they have a patrolling police officer in the store along with surveillance cameras everywhere. I still can find all my daily essentials or needs here. The whole front end is primarily self check out now. There’s only about 6 regular manned registers. When I checked out at self check out, there was only one register with a cashier open, and there was no one in that line. I prefer the self check out. There’s also about 4 self check outs catering to Walmart+ customers. At this time, you can find an eye center, Wood Forrest Bank, and a money center. I hope they will continue to expand to have restaurants such as Subway come to this location. I also like the idea of their “grab and go” area at the front entrance.By John Hannan (a month ago)I went to Walmart today and needed the last box of diapers at the very top where I couldn’t reach. I asked an employee named Raven to help me and she was several isles away from me. She went above and beyond to help my daughter and I. She had to climb, wedge, and basically contort herself to get this box of diapers and was happy to do it! I was so thankful for her help today 🙂 thanks again Raven!!!By Sarah Livingston (in the last week)Friendly staff in store. Staff at the register could really use more training. When they rang something up at wrong price and it was $30 more than the sale price. When we told him he says I can’t make price adjustments at the register after I ring it up. We told him to get a manager who could. We were right it was $30 less and she was able to fix the problem. Cashiers just need more training. At least I didn’t have to ring myself up.By Regina Guerra (a month ago)

- Reviews:The nice thing about Walmart is you always know what you’re going to get. Of course there are some regional products but the layout and products as well as prices are usually the same. There are however some really bad Walmarts. I did travel nursing for over 10years so I can tell you some are places you don’t want to be. Nice surprise, this Walmart is great! Clean, well stocked and the employees are visible and polite and helpful. Good job!By Cynthia Walker (in the last week)Purchased a pit boss austin XL on 1/21/23, price where it was stocked was listed at $297, but rang up $447. The store manager refused to honor their own pricing. She said take it or leave it. Terrible customer serviceBy Brett Jernigan (5 months ago)So where do I begin ? From going to a lot of places and traveling and shopping at many Walmarts. This by far has to be the best I’ve even been to. The faculty are just so nice and attentive I believe the manager Jeffery is excellent and on point. I’ve seen him work with other employees and watched the leadership as a manager he’s carried to reflect on the entire store and I like that in a day of corporate American shopping everyone in this Walmart was on the same agenda. Shelf’s we’re stocked information was given quickly and questions were answered. I really look forwarded to shopping here I strongly think me being a customer that Jeffrey and the entire staff at this Walmart are hard working people and deserve a-lot of recognition by corporate or regional directors of WalmartBy Ryan Darko (9 months ago)This store is notoriously rude, dirty and often times isle go fully neglected for months ar a time. These pictures where taken over four different months, and to this day the nail aisle stays this way.By Lisa Murphy (4 months ago)This is NOT our favorite location!! The parking lot is ALWAYS so dirty! Carts all over and you can’t park in certain areas bc the carts are in the way. We have bought things to get home and nothing in the package (a lot of theft going on). The customer service desk takes too long w just one person helping. This store is not very clean. The freezer door was broke one day and wouldn’t close. We try to go to a VA Beach Walmart. Did like this hoodie though.By Paru Paro (6 months ago)

Average Walmart, witch is not really saying much. Some of the employees are nice but most don’t really try to help you at all. The lines get VERY long even when their is no holiday close by an they don’t even have any cashier lines open except for maybe two.
They got no customer service that we customer service in the front of the building really close to the exit so I could run out of the door in case it actually had to do something for you. They spend more money on somebody who wants to rifle through what you’re buying had make sure you’re not stealing! In the country where we are innocent until proven guilty we have stores that consider you guilty until proven innocent.
I’d rather shop ANYWHERE ELSE. Walmart parking lots are dangerously crowded, customers (in the lot and the store) are witlessly careless and obnoxious, the website states the store has items in stock which cannot be found by management anywhere in the store despite wandering around searching and speaking to each other after checking the website themselves. The entire store is an enraging exercise in chaos and total waste of time. This hasn’t been my only attempt or only store, and I consider ALL Walmarts to be the same.
Horrible customer service, lanes are never open, prices are routinely, suspiciously, “mistakenly” priced higher than advertised and the workers attempt to defend their over price unless provided proof from the customer that their register is over the advertising price.
I have abandoned several full carts of supplies rather than waiting due to no open lanes other than self checkout. My family now avoids this location at all costs.
Most of the employees here might as well not even do anything but throw on a vest and sit, because nothings ever taken care of here. There’s messes throughout the store, unorganized aisles, the lanes are NEVER open and the lines reach the back of the store and if you have a question, forget it, nobody can help you find anything. Corporate needs to take charge and fire these slack offs and get someone in here who wants to work. The state of this store is DISGUSTING.
