For the price, it was an ok experience.
It was my first time there and the workers don’t talk to you much or walk you through the process which made me feel really awkward and uncomfortable.
Car wash was great and they cleaned my tire rims nicely. But this is not the place to get your car detailed.
I got the interior detail package for $90 and I felt like it was a hurry up mess up job. My carpets had multiple types of spills and stains and they got a good amount of it out. But they missed a lot of spots that should have not been missed. As you can see in the pictures a took immediately after they “cleaned”. I would have expected a better detailing job for the price I paid. I was disappointed. The issue that occurred for me was I pulled up about 15 minutes after they opened. I approached the screen with different car wash options. The screen had no explanation of the difference between different car wash options. It just said something like “Bronze, silver, gold, platinum… etc.” So on a whim I got the $15 wash and pulled around to the car wash. The whole thing looked off. The belt where your tire sits wasn’t moving and no lights were on and nothing was moving. So I called the store, feeling nervous suddenly wondering if they were actually not open yet. Someone answered and I explained the situation and they hung up on me as I was explaining the situation. Then after another minute a man walked outside and turned the car wash on and waved me in. Honestly the customer service here made me feel like a nuisance. They employee was clearly annoyed. He didn’t make eye contact with me, smile, wave, nothing lol. He just gestured for me to pull up once he turned the car wash on. I did this and the car wash itself seemed kinda… weird… I’ve taken my car through many car washes but this one seemed weird because the long brushes they wipe ur car were hitting my car very aggressively in comparison to any other drive through car wash I’ve gone through. My guess is their machinery is old or something. It works. It doesn’t seem dangerous by any means but you can I imagine that I was feeling a bit upset by the fact that I got treated rudely by an employee and now im sitting in a car wash that is just repeatedly, aggressively slapping the sh!t out of my windshield and car lol, like yeah I won’t lie it made me just a tiny bit nervous about driving my new car through it. Then when we purchased a new SUV he decided to have the ceramic coating inside and out! Caleb worked with me through the process and was great!!! I needed a thorough car wash for a vehicle that had gotten the black residue on the paint that happens when there’s a lot of rain. Based on the reviews, I chose California Car Wash in John’s Creek. They told me I had to have the “super prep” that cost $100 in order to be sure all those black spots were taken care of. I agreed and advised that I wanted the car cleaned thoroughly inside and out.
When the car was ready I didn’t do a thorough inspection before driving off. Based on the reviews and the price paid, I simply expected there to have been thorough attention to detail. The good news is the black residue was dealt with and the finish looks much better.
However, once on the road, I grabbed my sunglasses case to change glasses and it was apparent they’d not taken time to moved them and vacuum the console as there was still dirt and crumbs there. Also, when I got home and opened the back to check out the cargo area, there was gunk under the center backup light. This is right at eye level when you open the back so there’s no way they didn’t see it.
If I’d paid $25 or $30 for a wash, I might let this kind of thing go but for $100 + tip I expect much more attention to detail. Not sure I’ll use them again.

This has been my “go to” car wash for a couple of years. I drive past 3 others to get to this one from my house. It has always been a good experience before today. I paid for the $25 ceramic wash, which should include wax and tire shine. I noticed the automated lights for both did not activate as I went through. I parked and noticed there was still dirt on the car, and there was no tire shine. Also, there were no clean towels anywhere i could find. I notified an employee, who m let me go through again, but with the same results. One star for the wash, one added for the employee who tried to make it right.
Have been going to this car wash for a few years and have an unlimited wash membership. Apparently there is new ownership who decided it was fine to increase their prices without notifying their members. Suddenly I am being charged more each month even though the prices have not been updated on the website. When I called to inquire, I was told none of the employees were notified of the change either and they have had numerous complaint calls. When I reached out via email to the contact address on their website, I got no response. Not a very smart business practice. Am looking for recommendations of other good car washes in the area.
I have been coming to Grand Slam since they opened a few years back. I always get the same service, a wash with an add on of carpet cleaning. My total has always been $60 and of course I tip. Today I went to select the service and the add on when I was promoted to “ring the bell” for detail services. I rang the bell and the manager came to assist me. She said the price had been increased to $70 but I’ll charge you at the “dugout” so you won’t have to pay twice, $35 for the wash and $35 for the carpet cleaning which is now charged separately. I get through the wash, pull my car to lane 2 then proceed to go pay. The manger said “the owner says I must charge you $105. I almost lost it, and the owner was standing there but wouldn’t acknowledge my concerns about being told $70 then charged $105. I’m assuming they are under new ownership and as I explained to the owner (Asian lady, yellow shirt and red hat) this is not how you do business. Your prices must be posted and once you give a price you can’t just “decide” to charge more. This is a very poor business practice and I can assure you that I will be letting everyone know that this place should be avoided.
I take my vehicle here regularly. The wash is above standard at other places, which is nice. But I’m mostly here to write about the interior cleaning. I bring my minivan here and it is exactly what you’d expect for a family van. These folks do such an awesome job every time. I’m always impressed.
Took my van through the wash and one of the brushes grabbed the drivers side mirror and ripped it clean off. I approached who I assume was the manager and she immediately went on the defensive and told me “I take my car through the wash all the time and I’ve never had a problem”. She said they don’t normally cover damage like that because they don’t know if the mirror wasn’t already loose before I came in. I was also told they won’t normally cover anything on a vehicle older than 7 years old. The van is 8 years old. It only has 37,000 miles on it. It has not been abused. The mirrors are like brand new. She was not apologetic whatsoever and reluctantly said she would take my information down and speak with the owner, and they would give me a call. They have cameras and were supposedly going to review the footage. Two days later, no call. I was not rude at all, very patient and polite as I also work in customer service. I cannot believe how I was treated. This is crazy.
