We bought a membership with Ocean Express realizing that, yes, they have a disclaimer on minor scratches that happen, but when the damage is well over $2000.00 and even our front liscense plate is missing, that is more than minor damage.
Shortly after it happened, they closed for a few days for what they called “an equipment upgrade”. When the damage was reported and shown to them, they said it was “not their responsibility”.
I’m all for supporting local business but when something like this happens and they are good business men or women, they should take responsibility for what they caused. When you see these pictures, you be the judge.

Great service. They did an amazing job with my embarrassingly dirty car. Looked as good as new when they were done with the interior.By Brandy Howard (in the last week)They did a good job cleaning the dirty car but not really a good job on the detail job. The window pillars still had stains on them . The floor mats they said they washed and shouldnt be used for 48 hours but upon placing them back in the car after a few days i noticed they werent even clean the mats had dirt on them that you could wipe off so they didnt bother to clean it. The interior roof storage has some sticky residue that could have been wiped off clean with some rags but was still left on there. I dropped off the car with more than a quarter tank left and when i picked it up the gas warning light was on. Also my phone info was erased on my bluetooth stereo in the car and replaced with one of their workers names. My biggest complaint was that there are two small trims that hold the glove compartment in and they lost one of them so my glove compartment doesnt stay closed so i had to buy me a glove compartment to replace it because those two square trim pieces are not sold separately and are sold as a whole unit with the glove compartment and that costed me over $100 i bought it from a junk yard instead of paying over $250 just to get the trim pieces. They do a good job on exterior cleaning and interior they did good cleaning compared the way that it was before i brought it in but some stuff was left undone like some stains and the mats for sure. I could have rated this 1 star but they did do some work i give them credit for but some thing that they did not do plus some of the things i listed on here and losing those trim pieces i cannot rate more than 2 starsBy David (3 months ago)My car NEEDED to be detailed after 3 years of owning it! I love this car wash! They not only have a great car wash, vacuum and access to interior cleaning supplies, they also have a great staff. The assistant manager Ernesto makes me feel so welcome each and every time I visit. He talks to me not only about cars and the car wash but he is interested about you as a person. I look forward to see him each time I go.
I love coming here. They are always so nice!! Car wash is great and my car is always so nice after. Love the self clean feature and all of the supplies and tools they provide!! I have the unlimited pass and it is so helpful!
My new go to car wash! The assistant manager (didn’t catch his name) was very nice and didn’t pressure me into a package. This car wash was busy but had plenty of stations for the vacuums. Vacuums we’re great for all the dog hair on my seats. The wash cloth with glass/interior spray bottle station was an extra perk.
Ernesto, the manager of this car wash was very friendly and helpful! He gave me a free wash and was assuring in that I could get a wash even though I had lost a clip in my front bumper. Very professional and nice! I’ll be coming back here again and again. The vacuums were very strong and got all the dirt and debris out of my carpet. The mat wash did an excellent job and the station with clean rags for wipe down after the wash was such a nice touch!
This is one of the best drive-through car washes I’ve been through so I wanted to give them a kudos. A full service car wash is always nice but it’s also nice to have between option at a fraction of the price with some of the same perks. I think the self-service complementary detail center is a nice touch. It allows you to clean up your own interior without bringing a bunch of extra supplies. I also just found out that they have compressed air to help clean out the nooks and crannies, which is one thing I really like about a full service car wash, but could never find at a self-service car wash. I also always felt like the prior ownership group was a little bit pushy in terms of sales. The Take 5 guys are always very pleasant and don’t overly sell the services. Good stuff and nice to have a place like this that is local.
