2 weeks agoThis by far has to be the worse place to rent. Mainly because the leasing office STAFF is very unprofessional and Racist. First off the unit I was shown was not even the one I was applying for. They hurried up and took my 300 dollar deposit. That they claim takes 30 plus days to ship out if denied. In addition, they received all their paperwork asked of I within 48hours. then they asked for unrelated information to a1099. They ask for proof of being a teacher while the 1099 and the phone number given to them should have been enough to verify that, along with bank statements. I was supposed to get response in 72 hours on whether or not I was approved or disapproved. Instead they constantly asked for the same paperwork they already had since 7/28/23 today is 8/2/23. They don’t answer the phone at all. Overall very unprofessional and I SUGGEST NOT MOVING HERE IF YOU WANT fair professional landlords. GLAD THEIR NOT THE ONLY ONES RE’NTING.a year ago2 Year Resident Review: I lived here for 2 years and recently moved out for many MANY reasons. I’ve you plan on moving in please think about it twice. The only reason why I renewed my lease was because we didn’t want to go through the moving hassle and it was all during the pandemic. Creekwood is a nice community and it has its good and bad but I feel like it was continuing to get worse as the transition of BridgePlus to GreyStar happened. My main things here to move out were the excessive amount of rent paid for a 1 bedroom, lack of communication, dangerous area, and unprofessionalism. My storage closet was broken into and staff was ignoring my emails. I referred two residents here and I was never given anything as community promised. Only received $100 back after all fees of moving out . Community promised me a credit of $500 for my pet rent and I never received that. Staff is unprofessional and does not pay attention to detail. Property has always have mold even our garbage room and we continued to see ROACHES in bathroom and kitchen (including 2 other neighbors). Community rushes people to move in without inspecting units and fixing up any damages.Pros: •Nice FloorPlans •Dog Friendly (2 Parks) •KeyLess doors •Newer appliances •Balcony Views •Garage parking
Cons: •Unsafe Area (Recent shootings & stabbings) •Homeless living inside community •Excessive rent •Lack of communication from staff •Broken lobby and garage doors •Not enough garage cans •Disgusting non working elevators •Vandalism with MailRooms •Package thieves (Even Residents) •Dirty dog parks •Broken gym equipment •No supplies (doggy bags, paper towels, hand sanitizer) •3 year Broken sauna •No surveillance cameras •Dirty and inconsiderate residents •Pike Leaks •Staff is Unorganized (Missing parking & storage list) •No responses to Maintenance Requests •Residents stealing laundry and packages •neighbors cars stolen (2) even in garage
a year agoFront door to building was always broken. Homeless people living in stairwells. Gunshots in parking lot. Packages constantly stolen. Not a safe place to live. New management couldn’t figure out parking spaces so they ended up sending out a letter saying some units wouldn’t get a parking space. This place is a nightmare. It took 11 months to get a working mailbox key from them. Maintenance left us with a moldy bathroom and a broken kitchen light for over 2 months.Giving two stars because they have a playground, soccer field, etc.
9 months agoBEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! I was going to move here with my nephew but after Malik rushed me to apply for the apartment without a tour I was promised a tour of a model 2 days later that never happened. Then when I decided not to move forward because they told me my documented medical reason for having my dog was considered a condition and not a disability that I needed to provide more documentation to support my need. I requested a refund of the fee that told me I had to pay to even apply I was told that my $300.00 was forfeited due to being more than 3 days since I applied which I was never informed of at the time of applying and I never received any paperwork stating this until after the timeframe passed (which is crazy). The manager Nia keeps saying that I had a tour on the day I applied which is false but refuses to even acknowledge that her from office staff did not do their job correctly. The only reason I had concerns in the first place was because of all the negative comments that others have left online about this place which turns out to be true! I am sharing my experience so that the next person doesn’t have to go through the same thing. They place May look nice on the outside but trust me you Don’t want to be stuck with these unprofessional and criminal management staff. I will be taking legal action as they cannot just steal money from someone and just get away with it.a year agoHave been living in this complex more than 2 years. With new management trash is always piling up. There is constant smell on stairs. Even though smoking is prohibited there is always tobacco smell in hallways. Management does nothing apart from sending emails. Manager is very racist and rude.

4 years agoIf you have a property to rent in the San Lorenzo area and need an awesome property manager, just call Sam @ Village Properties. I feel like I don’t have to worry about my home and Sam provides good value. When I decided to rent out my house, Sam helped me narrow down pricing, find a good renter, arranged a contractor to quickly make some quality repairs, and got a cleaning crew to help with the final cleanup. Plus he’s a local so I know that if anything goes wrong, he and his colleagues are nearby because I’m not able to do that myself.
4 years agoSam is an amazing realtor! Last year he helped me and my husband through selling my pervious apartment and buying a new one. Immediately after contacting Sam he went right to work and throughout the entire process Sam was nothing but a consummate professional. Sam was incredibly patient and was in constant contact with me through the process and always responded quickly when I had questions. In addition, Sam is extremely knowledgeable about neighborhoods and pricing all of which helped to alleviate so much stress during what could have been a long and taxing experience. He even provided virtual tours of our property that showcased it beautifully. As an amazing conclusion to our experience, Sam sold my property for far more than the expected selling price. He continues to work diligently days, nights, weekends, and even holidays as my property manager dealing with all tenant and property issues. If you want to work with the best, you need to reach out to Sam!4 years agoWe used Village Properties to purchase our first home in 2003 with Jessica as our agent and she made it as pain-free as possible for first time, nervous homebuyers such as ourselves.More recently, Sam has done a great job managing rental properties for my mom and she couldn’t be happier. 4 months agoAdrienne was an amazing asset in our home buying process. She was just as excited and committed to the process as we were. She was an AWESOME negotiator and got us a greatly discounted purchase price. She was very responsive and answered our questions – even at 9pm! It has been a dream to buy a house and we could not have done it without the guidance and perseverance of Adrienne! We are forever grateful.2 years agoAdrienne is a Super star when it comes to finding a home, selling a home, refinance or even finding you a business. One day Adrienne and I connected mid 2019, she called me and asked what I was doing. I told her I was looking for a Beer Garden to open in Oakland. No luck for me and she mentioned out of the blue that the “Pine Garden restaurant” was available. I was in shock that it was in my hometown. She called the owners and I spoke with them. I mentioned I’m a Union City resident tor 40+ yrs and I wanted to open the 1st Beer Garden in Union City. Right then and there we had a deal on the spot. I give Adrienne all the credit from calling me and contacting the owners. She Dms, text or drives by and waves at times which is cool. Without her I wouldn’t have done the possible. I really owe a great deal to her. Adrienne is a hard working mother, agent and good person to talk with. She can make your home or business dreams happen. Give her a call and let her know what you are looking to do…buy, sell, investment, refinance or to talk. Call her NOW!!Thank you so much Adrienne I appreciate you and what you do. Let’s have lunch and a beer in the Beer Garden and chat about investment homes.

8 months agoOn the recommendation of two of my friends, I decided to work with Adrienne when buying my first home. She is super well-connected and has expansive knowledge of the best, hidden-gem Bay Area neighborhoods. She was extremely intuitive when assessing my needs as a buyer. We found what I was looking for in ONE DAY. Plus, her down-to-earth personality makes you feel like you’re with a friend. Even if you are already an established homeowner, this process can be intimidating and stressful and she made it a breeze. I can’t say good enough things about Adrienne and would highly recommend her for such a huge and important purchase!a year agoAdrienne was so easy to work with.
