a week agoUseless staff, and extremely rude and dismissive of any responsibility. I was on my way through on the conveyor, and a STUPID female staff member starts banging on my window. So I opened my window about an inch so I could hear her in her broken English, but could not understand what she was babbling on about. But because the process had begun, I got drenched with cleaning chemicals, which caused a rash on my skin the same day. Also, the vertical brushes were not working, so my car came out the other end looking like an effing ZEBRA! I asked the manager to refund my £10, to which he replied “I would have to do it online, as they don’t give refunds at the point of sale” But they never closed the car wash to fix the problem, they still allowed more cars through after mine. So I will never go back to this car wash, because it is run by absolute clowns.I used to use the IMO in Sittingbourne, almost on a weekly basis when I worked through that way, and never had a problem in over two years. And the guys at Sittingbourne were always pleasant, helpful, and PROFESSIONAL, unlike their colleagues at Canterbury. I blame the franchise manager, because it is HIS job ultimately, to promote good customer service amongst his team members. But HE, the older guy with the goatee beard, was the rudest of all, and displayed a threatening and aggressive demeanour.
3 months agoWent back this afternoon after a fair gap of going elsewhere…paid £10 for the Diamond Wax, got home and the car looks like it has not even been washed. Water marks all down the side, front bumper and wheels still dirty and pollen marks still all over. Went for speed, should have waited in line across the road for the hand wash!a year agoTwo times I have used IMO car washes recently, and this is now the second time I have had this experience. I used this facility on the 5th of March 2022 and I have to say, I was left very disappointed with the experience. As we were going through I noticed that that one of the brushes was not spinning on the drivers side of the car. Since getting home I have seen that actually using the car wash was a complete waste of my time and money, my wheels and front bumper are still soiled heavily. I would have been better off just washing the car myself, i would have saved my money and got the job done a hell of a lot better. One to avoid at all costs!a week agoGot home realised my rear window wiper was missing and the cap for it as well. Car wasn’t dry and didn’t seem half the dirt off it either.

Was good. But last 3 visits, there’s been no detergent in the car wash. They’ve just been using it to rinse cars after giving them a quick hose down with a pressure washer.
You get a better finish with a bucket of soapy water and a sponge!
Greeted by a person who was only able to grunt! After payment, each wheel was sprayed by the grunter and I tried to follow the vague hand instructions to enter the wash. Afterwards, I found the wheels still very dirty, so much for the spray. The roof of my car was also patchy which is probably due to the missing vertical washing strips I noticed missing when going through. I used to frequent this car wash a lot several years ago and always go a good result. I wouldn’t go back now as I can get an excellent hand wash for less money.
Have used a few times for convenience but car never comes out looking properly clean like it does from other places. Staff are also very rude.
Always say they’re too busy for any valeting services too.
Absolutely useless every time
I go there to use it they have a sign out saying they are closed for maintenance which is rubbish as they are only closed as they are valeting cars and this is were they make there money and as this is a franchise they are supposed to be open until the time they close and not just when they feel like it I have drove all the way from boughton to just be turned away I will never use this car wash again they are there to provide a service not just to make money if you cant cope with the work don’t take it on
We visited for a quick exterior wash in the middle of the day because some birds had pooped on the car. The operative usefully removed all of this with the pressure washer and the car emerged looking sparkling clean. I can’t say whether we received all of the options that we paid for (it’s a long list) but we were pleased with the results.
