6 months agoThe Tesco Superstore opens till 12:00 AM which is the best thing when all other market closes at 7 PM on mon – Sat. The store closes at 4 pm on Sunday.The another best thing is it is matching price Aldi on some products and gave discounts every now and then.
The store has a Asian dedicated row where you can get basic Indian stuff like wheat flour, Chickpea flour, Namkeen, lentils, and spices.
Also they have apparel, party supplies, cosmetics, utensils, medicines, decorative item, alcohol.
2 weeks agoWhere do I start, one of the best Tesco’s I’ve ever used always stocked well, great best before dates, fantastic cafe (food always delicious), and the best staff. Not only is it a great Tesco but the brilliant staff stopped a theft of my motorcycle by two little toe rags, whilst I was shopping and for that I am in their debt. THANK YOU TESCO STAFF YOUR THE BEST 👍👍👍3 months agoAfter dropping husband at hospital early morning I was desperate for breakfast and needed WiFi to work. The lady in the cafe was AMAZING. Could not be more helpful and kind. 3 people wanting breakfasts, she was alone initially but got breakfasts out quickly and it was lovely. Choice of what I wanted on the breakfast, asked for well cooked bacon which she did perfectly. Cafe was clean and very organised. This lady is worth her weight in gold. She was happy for me to sit in a corner and work. Lots of people came in who appeared to be regulars, she chatted with all while remaining efficient. Ample parking with a garage nearby.a month agoYour pharmacy are continuously out of stock of my repeat prescriptions… I order well in advance, and give you 2 weeks to source my medication yet you still manage to leave me with missing medications. Completely ridiculous with poor customer service and NO explanation as to this mismanagement… this is happening every month Tesco, what has changed for this to be occurring in the last 6 months? You are putting me in an incredibly vulnerable position here….2 weeks agoIncompetent staff couldn’t figure out why voucher discount was not applied. We were forced to re-scan items three times.7 months agoI prefer Tesco to other supermarkets for the quality of the fruit. Also the Tesco finest products never disappoint. The flowers or plants in season at the entrance are nice, I’ve bought some surprisingly amazing sunset colour roses there. Enough parking always available. The fuel station close by is handy. Some refurbishment and a more modern look inside would help.6 months agoWhat’s going on? I visit this store usually twice a week, but last two visits the shelves have been empty in various areas of the store and almost no check out staff which means everyone with full trollies are trying to navigate self scan to check out – a challenge with a basket, but with a full trolley neigh on impossible. With most manned check outs closed, the queues for the small number of self scan facilities are now getting very long even when the store isn’t that busy. Staff doing their best, but very stretched.

Unidentified green, suspected non edible, found in Tesco Aromatic lettuce bag. It was taken back and reported to Tesco staff.
Now, more generally, Tesco quality has gone down significantly for a while now. Prices sky rocketed while the quality on Tesco branded products is clearly down. I would expect the same quality at least at a higher price.
A good large supermarket in the city centre. Easy to park your car. No need a pound coin to get a trolley. The only issue is that it opens at 11am on Sunday which is too late for many customers. You can see many people waiting by the entrance and in the car waiting. Suggest those arriving early to go next door – Aldi to look for bargains first.
Fantastic staff here including the security guard , very helpful when I visited here with my autistic son they even opened another till so I could be served quicker and this helped calm my son down as he was starting to have a melt down , tesco’s please be very proud of your staff at this store as they went above and beyond with their customer service
Big place and plenty of products to choose from. Good toilet facilities and clean. I think there was also a place to grab a quick bite to eat. There are plenty of parking spaces. Staff is very approachable. Prices were reasonable.
Bought a pair of Jean’s and although I asked if I could try on in toilets once I paid no one thought to take the security tag off.alarms were going off and no one even noticed. When I saw it I asked for it to be removed.customer service very poor today
