Very busy, big ques, prices higher than elsewhere, but good for local area. Overall it worked well and was fair and quick to fuel up. Used “Pay at pump” option, all worked as it should and get a printed receipt. Limon is set at £120, which will cater for most tanks even in the overpriced fat cat fuel times.

Filled the car up after shopping at the Tesco store, staff seem polite and friendly and either pay at pump or in-store which is superb for avoiding any queues to pay, and a little range of various products in the petrol station shop

Not much price difference comparing with the competitors, plus the jet wash most of the time seems to be broken or not working, and no one seems to care much about it

Usually one of the lowest prices for petrol and diesel in the Exeter area. Great thats it’s also 24hrs with self service pumps. Also a cashpoint. When staffed, staff are always polite, professional and helpful!

Can’t find the price of fuel on your site. Should be simple you would think. Call the store and go though the message system then get cut off.

Was refused a partial refund for an unopened pouch of tobacco purchased 5 minutes before because half of it was paid by card, manager was trying to refuse it from the start saying it’s too hard, she started to judge me for wanting to swap to a 30g pouch from a 50g, was giving snide remarks then started going through my vulnerable friends phone with the gift card on it! The manager was scrolling through sensitive confidential messages without any form of consent, horrible experience wouldn’t recommend.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. The female staff (white, straight dark long hair) was horrible. Not sure if she was the manager.

I was trying to return an unwanted and unopened product which I bought 30 min ago but without a receipt printed, whicb was needed for the return. I saw on FAQ that stores can print out the receipt by scanning my clubcard, but I didn’t know at the time that Express stores couldn’t do this due to limits of access on their till system, so I went to the cashier counter and politely asked if they could do that. Instead of explaining this to me and advising how I could print out the receipt, she was just being very rude and patronising and said things like “we can’t do this now” “we are busy” “we are closing”…Even worse, while I was leaving the store she was complaining about me with her colleague saying things like “Why did he do that? I’ve told him”….

I mean how would I know they couldn’t do this due to system limits…? And they could have just explained it and directed me to their customer service website. But instead of doing that, they chose to be rude and funny onsite. This is just extremely unprofessional and discriminating behaviour.

Staff treating customers really rude while discount clearance item. Trying to turn customers away from looking. Shocking customer service.

Staff are very unimpressive and rude they have a couldn’t care less attitude. The store is often a mess with loading cages taking up the aisle making it difficult for somebody in a wheelchair to get around I actually saw somebody a few days ago give up in despair the assistant loading the shelves didn’t care less. checkout people are forever talking into headsets completely ignoring the customer one in particular Thursday about 4:30 the one with the 60’s style beehive hair. Staff including management and people who answer the phone need serious training in customer relations and good manners. They need to realise that they wouldn’t have jobs if it wasn’t for customers.

Robbed of a £1 today had to pay for a trolley and was refused my coin back. They clearly didn’t believe me and should check the CCTV. I won’t be shopping there again. It might not seem much but the principle of it. Around midday today

Tesco Active Hours for Exeter

Tesco is one of the largest supermarket chains in the United Kingdom, with various stores scattered across the country. It offers a wide range of products, including groceries, household items, clothing, and electronics. To cater to the needs of its customers, Tesco has convenient operating hours that vary depending on the day of the week and the location of the store.

Here is an overview of Tesco active hours in the United Kingdom:

  • Most Tesco stores in the UK are open from Monday to Saturday, typically starting at 6 or 7 am and closing at 10 or 11 pm. However, it’s important to note that these hours can vary slightly between different locations.
  • On Sundays, Tesco stores usually have reduced trading hours. They typically open at 10 am and close at 4 or 6 pm. Again, it’s advisable to check the specific operating hours of your local Tesco store to avoid disappointment.
  • Tesco has also introduced certain priority shopping hours during the COVID-19 pandemic. These hours are designated for elderly and vulnerable customers, allowing them to shop with less crowd and more safety. The priority shopping hours usually take place early in the morning, before the store officially opens to the general public. It’s best to contact your local Tesco store or check their website for the specific times of priority shopping hours.

It’s worth mentioning that Tesco Express stores, which are smaller convenience stores typically located in city centers or residential areas, may have slightly different operating hours compared to larger Tesco supermarkets. These Express stores generally have extended hours, with some even operating 24 hours a day.

Overall, Tesco aims to provide flexibility and convenience to its customers by offering a wide range of operating hours. Whether you need to do your weekly grocery shopping, pick up some last-minute essentials, or shop for clothing or electronics, Tesco has you covered with its diverse opening and closing times.

  1. Decent superstore with easy access, and selection, competitive on price mostly. Club card changes aren’t welcome. Most staff are super helpful, especially gentleman, grey hair who works in the alcoholics drinks section, never met such a superb supermarket employee.

  2. Great place for a big or small shop. Not just groceries, clothes, jewellery, bedding ect.. they have taken away dvds and big electricals like TVs 🙁 out of town store, but usually quite busy.

  3. Worse cafe me and my family has experienced.
    Plates were dusty.
    Eggs and toast were undercooked
The rice and chicken where not just undercooked but looks like it was left on the side for days. There was also hair in it.

  4. Good range of products. Well spaced out, some good offers on for starting back to school, uniform and non-uniform. Queues for checkouts are reasonable. Lovely coffee shop. They have reduced the parking too, making why for click and collect. Which could cause a problem at busy times.

  5. It’s a Tesco. All much of much. I’ve had no issues and the place is always clean and the shelves are well stocked
