a week agoThis shop operates a discrimination policy against cash paying customers. All of the self-serve machines take card payment & perhaps 3 out of 8 take cash – resulting in card paying customers being encouraged to skip ahead of the queue. Aside from that the floor layout is an absolute disaster – with pizza being sold from 5 separate locations in the store. The staff morale is very low too. A miserable shopping experiencea month agoIf you want to get followed around by security who walk around following normal people go here. They have no problem nor desire to move young lads smoking weed at the front door. Disgraceful tesco.2 months agoIt’s fine. Lack of hot deli counter means I prefer to go to dunnes. Clubcard prices are a bit of a joke – not really much of a discount, the standard price is just overinflated. Staff are pleasant in my experience.a week agoTwo weeks in a row the chicken fillets were rancid..smelled like fart but in date..could kill somebody.brought it to the manager who couldn’t take his head out of his phone..the shop is a disgrace..never got his name but think he was a general manager..baskets absolutely manky never been cleaned no tills open..reported to trade and standards staff all walking around avoiding work..possibly the worst tesco..actually shop I’ve ever seen..unreal this place is still open2 months agoAwful experience with a small oldish woman who was just a nasty person to deal with, perma scowl across her face obviously hates her job and acts that way on the few times I’ve been there. Avoid unless necessary

3 years agoThe large underground car park is great and there is plenty of new self scan tills. Also a nice little recycling area for all the difference plastics, etc. But its all wasted when the shop floor is a mess. Empty shelves, no prices or prices mixed up and you’re trying to find the matching product. Half the products aren’t where they would make sense to be (can tell some staff just throw up anywhere). The cereal lane must have more open/damaged boxes than closed! This is all bad but the reason for the 1 star is because of the out of date stock they sell. My son picked up ‘choc bear’ biscuits bars that were out of date in 11/19, so 3 months ago! There was other cereal 2 months out of date. Ridiculous. I know fresh food can be missed the odd time by a day or 2, but stuff months out of date just shows they dont check shelves. Id suggest just going to tesco finglas or blancherstown. Those stores may not be perfect all the time but standard is alot better than cabra.6 months agoThe employee looking after the self scan service was very unhelpful and rude, he wanted me to queue to get my transaction completed or get my items scanned again at a till when my voucher couldn’t be scanned. what a waste of service and time.3 months agoI love this Tesco! It’s super big and you can find a lot of different products and the service is fast!8 months agoBig shop, lots of clothes, food, toiletries, etc….First time used Scan as you shop thing and it was really handy & quick… Nice staff … would be good to see more shopping trolleys upstairs though…6 months agoI’m not ordering anything from them, they charge me 10 euro for nothing I was in the store they have water but for delivery they don’t have. Poor delivery service.

I bought a regular sized cup of coffee (in a compostable cup) and a Kit Kat for €3 which is a sweet deal.
I’d a look at the ladies clothes but didn’t see anything I liked.
The self-service tills are handy and there wasn’t a long queue for them.
There’s an impressive. range of products at Tesco Ballincollig.
Finally they have public toilets in store.
The meat department is not up to scratch, the fridges should have closed doors in my opinion. Would never buy chicken from here as you can always see the condensation in the packaging. Other than that it has a good clothing section and wide range including polish section.
such a disappointment from the last shopping with out of dates items and some veggies and fruits that started to show holes after a couple of days and with a very chemical/rotten taste. Customer care online was inefficient. Such a waste, I won’t shop in Tesco for a while
It’s always nice to shop there. The staff are only the best and you get value for money too.
Absolutely brilliant store.Spacious, well stocked and superb service. Very easy, convenient parking too. Enjoyed another visit today, nothing has changed- even better!
