a year agoI like this place because you can go there every time you want, it has some products with discount and this is so good. You can buy everything you want3 months agoNot the cleanest or best place, it doesn’t have the best prices either. However what really makes it special is that it is open 24/7, making this the only hipermarket in Budapest to be open at night. The staff at night was friendly and we had no issues in that aspect. Could’ve been cleaner though and the single bathroom that was open was nasty. It couldn’t even flush and it smelled like a sewer unloaded a ton of human waste inside the bathroom. I still have flashbacks to that horrifying smell.a month agoSpecify the correct opening hours! You don’t work 24 hours! From 23:50 to 00:30 you have a break. Stop deceiving people. I had to steal 40 minutes and waitInformation update! Today, on the night from 2023.07.11 to 2023.07.12 at 23:45, all ticket offices were closed. At the time of the comment at 00:40, the collection is still going on … I want to contact the management of Tesco, can you add people to the night shift?
a month agoIt’s huge. Wide range of products. You can find almost everything, from food to television, from clothes to gardening tool, etc. Mixed prices. Well accessible by car, bicycle or by public transport. The parking is free. You can find many other businesses. Pharmacy, Drogerie Markt, many fast-food restaurants. I recommend ’cause it’s open 7/24!9 months agoConsiderably smaller than it was several weeks ago as not sure if downsizing or renovating. Now they have ticketing machines at the fruit and veg which means everyone can use the self scan payment which is a plus. Always a case here to look for the club card prices as you can get good offers if you have joined. Also worth checking size and cost as larger is not always better.

a week agoThe products are ok. The fruits were fresh and tasted very good. But nobody’s speaking english. Right in the middle of the Hungary capital, Budapest. I cannot understand this!5 months agoTerrible service at the checkout in the supermarket! The female cashier refused to scan the store’s club card from our phone. Previous buyers had their club card scanned from their phone, we were refused. After scanning all the products, she refused to say how much some products cost (there were no prices for these products in the store hall). Answer: You have 18 product items, I will not look for the price of the product you need. She also refused the request to remove these products from the list. When asked to call the manager, she pretended not to hear us. After paying in full, we went to look for a manager or a security guard, we didn’t find anyone. Just horror, shock and stupid injustice. One can scan the club card from the phone, and the other cannot. To the question why so? The woman pretended not to hear us…3 years agoNot a great e experience at all.The store is massive, however it is not pleasurable to do the shopping there. It is badly organized, and the staff is not helpful whatsoever. There are indeed a lot of products, but the store does not really offer them to you, you have to go and seek for it yourself. The prices were quite cheap, but not better than in Lidl, Aldi or Spar.
The other huge flaw in this fantastic shop is the butcher, who has very hard times for cleaning his hands. The administration, PLEASE check the hands of your workers! The butcher that served me had black (because if dirt) fingernails, and was operating without any gloves. Just with hands. I’m sorry, but this was really disgusting. It needs to be solved as soon as possible, please take the necessary actions. Thank you in advance!
In total, it was not too bad, but could have been much much better.
a month agoIt’s the weekend and they only have one box set up for customers. They have to understand that there are older people who don’t know how to use the automatic payment service.
a year agoIt has goods, thats for sure! Make sure to go in and buy lots of Hell Energy Drinks! Strawberry – Rhubarb is my favourite!

Huge Tesco with not a lot of products. Quite dirty and messy. Some products were missing, and it is not really well organised. On the other hand, this shop offers quite good prices and is working 24/7. Most of the staff doesn’t really care about the customers, a lot of tills are closed, therefore causing lines for 20 minutes. I would better choose Auchan!
Big supermarket. Big selection of foods and everything for home. Very good service.
Tesco I trust from my home country. It has become expensive compared to Spar and Penny. I notice that the car parks is full – but I don’t understand why. I wonder if they are actually rebuilding inside or have closed down shelf space because the shop is open with 40 percent closed to customers. I mention this though I know they make huge profits on UK made Foods. Check out the price of Heinz baked beans for example.
TERRIBLE!!! Yesterday late evening my husband and I had very disappointing experience in this store. I couldn’t scan cheese and staff didn’t come to help, instead when we approached them and tried to ask for help – they didn’t understand English and tried to accuse me and my husband in stealing apricots, cheese and pastry. Only when police intruded, we could complete our purchase and didn’t receive any apologies at all. Rude, non-professional staff.

Not enough shopping carts. No token available if someone doesn’t carry cash for the cart. Poor selection of wares. And an absolutely horrible self- checkout experience, the machine constantly required staff assistance, por guys were running up ad down thewhole time, while we also were wasting our time as customers.
Don’t choose this hypermarket for your own sake!
