A big Sainsbury’s superstore that can find most of your needs. And there are over 200 parking bays with 3 hours free parking. Sainsbury’s petrol station is also available on another side of car park.

Hands down the one of the best Sainsbury’s in Manchester. There’s a large variety of foods and products here. They’ve even got a good selection of vegan foods, halal food and kosher food.

The special offers and sales are great for people looking for a bargain or cheap groceries.

The only down side I’ve seen to this Sainsburys, and the reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the untidy and dirty till and checkout areas. They’ve got boxes and receipts lying around all over the floor which I took pictures of for reference.

Other than that, this Superstore petty much has it all.

I know prices have risen but, there are usually less expensive alternatives and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful, friendly and polite.

The thing that really irritates me is the stock being moved….I know the reason is so you see other products that you might buy but, if I wanted other items I would look for them….as it is, I get most of my 10000 daily steps in walking up and down the sodding aisles trying to find where they’ve moved what I’m after to….in the end I went to a Tesco local, paid a bit extra but at least I didn’t need to look all over for what I wanted.

I noticed while I was there that they have security, gates and barriers plus if you use the self service, there are one or two staff in that area yet you have to show a receipt to exit….it’s a joke…..my visits there will be very few and far between from now on…..

Staff working on tills deliberately don’t push products down to make you reach and slow packing proces down. If you’re in rush then don’t come across.

If you have no Nectar card or if you forget then they’ll charge you more for your products. There should be option of typing nectar card number.

Some Self Serve tills are always closed and you’ll queue for working ones. Don’t forget to grab receipt in your mouth to swipe thru barriers otherwise you can be treated as a thief.

It was my favourite shop by over a decade and now I’m going over there only when I must.

Really good superstore. Always has everything well stocked and it’s organised! There’s a really good selection of baked goods, flowers and free from products. Good location. Only weird thing is you have to scan your receipt on the way out which is fine if the machine gives you one after your purchases. No other Sainsbury’s seem to have this system so why have it?

This shop is one of my favourites. It offers a wide choice of foods and clothes. I always purchase quality products at Sainsbury’s. I got loads of colourful and comfortable clothes/shoes for my daughter in the past 10yrs. I’ve never had any issues. Clothes are true to sizing. I also love it’s parking area with plenty of spaces and parking bays for families.

Great store but you now have to scan your receipt to exit, which is an issue if you’ve opted not to get one from the self service machines!

  1. This grocery store is heaven on earth; especially for someone who needs to follow a 100% gluten free diet. Compared to America, everything in the store was very well-priced and I was elated to find an entire gluten free aisle to shop from. I literally was a kid in a (GF) candy store haha. The image is from a slight afternoon haul where I was craving some snacks. The GF bread had many nutritious seeds and came in handy throughout my stay. I have been missing the GF jam tarts and Bakewells every day and cannot wait to indulge once I return to the UK. It was so hard to believe that the baked goods were not only GF but were also milk free! Although Sainsbury’s is a convenience store, it still deserves the praise on here for any future shoppers from near or far.

  2. Never disappoints, a huge store with great clothing, homeware & groceries. Fantastic range of cupboard staples and high-end condiments not usually found in other supermarkets nearby.

Can easily spend up to two hours here.

  3. This store is absolutely filthy from end to end every shelf on every isle is thick with dirt I’m appalled that this flagship store has gone down hill so much I feel so sorry for the staff having to work under these conditions. It’s a wonder they haven’t had a visit from environmental health. I only went in to order from argos and thought I’d grab a few bits while I was there . I soon changed my mind after walking round the store SHAME ON YOU SAINSBURYS for letting it get so dirty

  4. “I had a delightful shopping experience at Sainsbury’s Heaton Park the other day. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the store’s cleanliness and organization. The aisles were well-stocked, making it easy to find everything I needed.

The staff at Sainsbury’s Heaton Park were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made my shopping trip even more enjoyable. They were readily available to assist with any questions or recommendations I had.

The store’s wide selection of fresh produce and quality products ensured that I could find everything on my list. Plus, the checkout process was quick and efficient.

Overall, my visit to Sainsbury’s Heaton Park was a pleasant and stress-free experience. I appreciate the store’s commitment to providing excellent customer service and high-quality products. I’ll definitely be returning for my future shopping needs.”

  5. Good parking. Wide selection. I was having a problem locating my nectar card on my app and was helped by Kartic, He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. Perfect employee.
