Fabulous little place with lovely staff and food. Went with my friend and I had the Lincoln poacher quiche, best quiche I’ve ever had outside my home and a very generous portion. Lovely crust /pastry, custard very cheesy and not overcooked, perfect 👌 . My friend had a salad of some kind, again very generous and with a pot of tea. My friend also had a slice of the olive oil chocolate cake, which looked delicious, moist and a very large portion. I asked for a strong decaf cappachino, which was a perfect brew for me but I was very disappointed with the size of the cup. All in all a really lovely place, just a pity about the size of the cappachino.

Great local shop. Always well stocked clean and bright. Staff are fantastic! Claire, will, Paul the security guard to name a few who ALWAYS make my shopping experience much better. Very friendly and welcoming to my children also. Always popping in for bits and pieces and I will choose to go here rather than other more convenient shops due to customer service I receive here

The wide variety of products made it easy to find everything on my shopping list. The checkout process was quick, and the overall atmosphere was clean and inviting. Highly recommended!

Very clean. Superb selection of everything needed.

I’ve been searching for a particular set of knickers and FOUND them here!

Obviously I won’t share my Knicker Pic 😁

Plenty of parking space but smaller car parking.Single floor Sainsbury. Free cash withdrawal machine on the left as you enter the store.

Not clear sign of way out…

Habitat in-store Toilet available Petrol Pump available within. Sandwiches and Lottery section on the left as you enter.

The rest of the store shopping is on the front and right hand side as you enter.

Handy yes, but getting rid of the wet fish & butchery was a sad move – & like most UK supermarkets, there are more crisps & confectionery on sale than decent fruit & veg !

Not been to Sainsbury’s for a long time but was passing trough so popped in for some veggies. Stock was low and I couldn’t get a cabbage, I also wanted some figs but they are seasonal so wasn’t expecting too much Rest of the shop seemed well stocked although prices were slightly higher. All in all still a good place to shop but I felt the produce let the side down somewhat

  1. I walked in and thought I walked into a Walmart (I’m from Canada and didn’t expect to find a store this huge in the UK). Everything looked very clean and the shelves were well organized. I only walked in to buy one item and walked out with much more than that. I also did some price scouting for my next grocery trip. Seems to be a decently priced option.

  2. A great Sainsbury’s! Very large and nice wide aisles with a Sushi Bar, Lindt pick and mix and a wide range of World Foods.

  3. Came for the cash point (which was not working at the time ) stayed for the bakery and hot food counter .
The bakery was looking a little sparse along with the hot food counter although the last 4 sausage rolls were nice , the lad on the counter looked to be doing a good job at spinning plates as he was run ragged by ovens beeping till rolls failing and trying to serve all at the same time ! I was glad there was some products left on the other counters ,the cold sandwich fridges were very sparse and what was left definitely did not look appetising !
Although we had seven items the lady on the customer service counter was nice enough to ring us up and was helpful in providing directions to another hopefully working cash point .
Take care in the car park as the lanes in between the parking bays are quite narrow and to allow parking requires you to swing out ,this as what happened to me and a few others in a short space of time caused a bit of an altercation with other shoppers who would not wait coming the opposite way !
All in all a usefully situated store that just needs to keep their stock updated even on a Sunday early afternoon .

  4. The store is fairly large, with plenty of car parking. The location is also ideal; based at the marina and very close to the city centre. Due to the large selection of products available, you are always sure to find what you need. There is also an Argos situated at the back, left hand side of the store. It is very rare that I see a till open; you are more or less expected to use the self-scan tills.

  5. Absolutely disappointed in service I’ve got. Management couldn’t care any less, specially Helen who is a manager. Moved from one till to another twice with a small child and full trolley which was half off loaded on the belt. As a customer I have been spending at least £200 a week, I will be start shopping elsewhere.
