if you coming from republic get so beers, 12 bottles of Heineken 9£. Good selection of wine and siders in store too. Shop is clean and very similar to our tescos.
My first visit and ‘impressed’ wouldn’t cover it. Well presented produce at great prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Wish it was a bit closer but will be a regular shopper there. 5*
They have a decent off license and the food range is okay. It hasn’t changed in 29 years. Just a paint to get in and out of the shopping centre so a bit hard getting access.
We make a trip up from Dublin every few months… they’ve a few bits I love that you just can’t buy in the Republic, and also not gonna lie for their great wine deals.
Parking is paid, but you can get it validated if you ask at the till.
Shop here every Saturday & have done for some years the reason why i haven’t give full stars is on the weekends when it’s busy i feel they could open more tills u… Like i mean they have 20 odd tills or whatever sitting there & only have 3 operational thus customers are qued up the isles with there trolleys full.. If they opened more tills the customers would get served & get out quicker rather than waiting an eternity. Just an idea that would make the whole experience less painful, slicker & also more convenient & a more pleasurable for the customer, surely with the price we are paying for food nowadays sainsburys can afford to. Employ a few more till staff.
