a month agoThe shop itself is fairly typical, however I informed customer services on the 25th June that the accessible toilet was not fixed to the floor and was moving freely whilst I was changing my ostomy bag. Almost a month later (23rd July) the toilet seat is still dangerous for anyone with limited mobility or motor control (the very people it’s intended for).Shows a clear lack of care for the most vulnerable of its customers and I am appalled that NOTHING has been done in the month after I notified them.
a week agoIt has a different character to the ‘big’ Sainsbury’s in Green Park. Slightly less relaxed. It’s more out of the way so everyone there has had to drive – it’s shopping as chore: get in, get out. Lots of harangued parents and a constant chorus of wailing kids. Not an experience to be savoured. Whereas the big Sainsbury’s has the natural footfall from town and the more casual customers that come with it.And if that’s slightly tenuous, I also couldn’t find any Pieminister pies. I asked two staff on the aisle if they had any and they looked at me as if I’d just said “I am a Pieminister pie”. But whatever, I was probably equally unhelpful when I had a Saturday job at Homebase. I’m more put off by the vibes described above.
3 weeks agoGood size supermarket with plenty to offer and free parking with lots of spaces, it is in a triangular area of high level traffic at peak times so avoid those if you can. Good bus links too.3 weeks agoAbsolutely no disabled trolleys around, till staff stated they have been vandalised and put out the back. Haven’t had access to them for months, how this is acceptable in this day and age is beyond me. I just want to take my daughter shopping and have a somewhat normal experience not be forced to do my shopping in two trips or go elsewhere. I’d rather a vandalised trolley than nothing at all.a month agoA decent size store with a great range of products for most needs and a Argos and a cash point There is a good amount of blue badge spaces close to the entrance and a good amount of staffed tills I hate using self pay checkouts as they are really overwhelming for me especially when every time something goes wrong with them wear as for me using a staffed till when something goes wrong they are their to sort it straight away and having a person that greets you will always win for me over a machine But yes this Is the best Sainsbury’s I have been in

a week agoWonderful staff found liquorice allsorts and prunes whilst bagging up the shopping for an elderly friend. The two young members of staff behind the till at 3.45 on the 26th August were amazing.8 months agoAbsolutely appalling. I’m 31 and today I was trying to buy paracetamol and ibuprofen for my husband, who’s just had wrist surgery and is in a lot of pain, now with a cast on, too. Because I didn’t have any ID in me, I was stopped from getting painkillers for my husband. I understand ibuprofen and paracetamol cannot be sold to under-16s, but if a member of staff is unable to tell a 16-year-old from a 31, that member of staff is grossly incompetent. I had to go to the pharmacy across the road, where painkillers are more expensive but staff have a functioning brain.a month agoSlightly confusing layout but good range of stock3 months agoAlways a handy store when I was at university in bath and living nearby.a year agoUpon entering this establishment, the sheer range of products available was immediately clear. It provides everything, from toe nail clippers to lube, Sainsbury’s really has it covered. My delightful experience was further enhanced by the lovely staff, with the vibrant atmosphere allowing my shop to be one of the greatest 6.5 minutes of my life. I shall be returning often.

Sainsbury’s is one of the most popular supermarket chains in the United Kingdom. It offers a wide range of products, including groceries, clothing, and home goods. If you are planning a visit to Sainsbury’s, it is important to know the store’s active hours to ensure you can shop at your convenience.
Sainsbury’s active hours may vary depending on the location and day of the week. However, the majority of Sainsbury’s stores in the United Kingdom operate during the following general hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM

It is important to note that these hours are subject to change, especially during holidays or special events. It is always a good idea to check the specific store’s operating hours on the Sainsbury’s website or by calling their customer service line before planning your visit.
Sainsbury’s also offers online shopping and delivery services, which can be a convenient option if you are not able to visit the store during their active hours. Through their website or mobile app, you can browse the available products, place an order, and choose a delivery time that suits you.

Big Sainsbury’s in Bath, free parking but only for 90mins. Good range of gluten food. At time of review they are stocking gluten free Cornish pasties. Go past the entrance to the left and you will find local independent shops and stalls .
One of the only places in Bath stocking Tuc Sandwich biscuits. Very popular in these parts.
Very busy shop but always has what we need. It’s great that they have SmartShop so you can walk around and scan everything with your smartphone. Also it has currency exchange service that we often use and you get a better rate with Nectar card
I’ve now spoken to two managers on two separate occasions about the amount of mould in the grills of the refrigerators. At my last visit there was no change! They clearly don’t care about their staff or customer’s. They had staff doing some cleaning but still no change to the grills! My next visit will influence whether I escalate the concern to the local health authority. All in all, very disappointing!
I shop a lot at Sainsbury, both on line and going to the store. I do find that their prices have gone through the roof but I guess it is the same everywhere these days. The only thing I find is a problem is that I seem to get a lot of broken eggs with my deliverys. However they are quick to give a refund but if I am short of eggs I have to go to the store to get some which I find a bit of a pain. Generally though I am quite happy to shop there.
