As others have said, this wash is mediocre. The cleaning side of it is ok, but far from great. But the final rinse and dryer do not work very well. The owner told me that I was full of it as that was “impossible”. OK, I guess I must have lied and my spoiler magically ended up on the ground of the wash bay. Perhaps I forgot that I ripped it off with my bare hands while going through an auto wash. Took my car there the other day and was blowing off the water using the blue air hose, which snapped off and fell on to my car scratching the hood. Didn’t even report it because I know the owner is going to accuse me of being a liar and using a metal brush to purposely scratch my hood. BTW, I know for a fact that you found the snapped off blue air hose laying in the middle of the wash bay. Do not recommend this place at all. Shady operation at best. BTW, signs everywhere stating “Not responsible for damage to your vehicle”. Imagine that! Zero Stars. Using your card know that you pay for a minimum of 3 minutes at (I think $1 a minute). On such road trips I carry a quick wash kit with me that helps keep hydrophobic properties on my truck. All I need from the car wash is the covered bay and the water. Discovering that this car wash has hot water and medium pressure was a great find! Very poor car wash. Front grill not cleaned. Lubrication grease streaked hood, Lubrication grease? Really? Spots everywhere (poor drying) windows still dirty! Absolute waste of money. Had to go to another place to wash car. Horrible! Don’t waste your money!
I used this location for several years to wash my cars, as it’s really close. Really liked it when it was just built. Just recently, I took my subaru in. While going through the final drying phase in the car, I heard a weird noise. After driving out, it turned out one of the moldings on top of the car was gone. I came back to find it on the floor of the drying section. As I was looking at it, I also saw a fender on another car being bend by corner of the wheel cleaner mechanism as it was going into that.
It feels like the entire line needs multiple adjustments: one side of my car was not touched by the brushes, soap stayed on on the left front glass well into the drying section, drying section leaves the car mildly wet, but was too strong to blow out a molding.
I have never been to this car wash before and wanted to like it. I just returned from a road trip and had a bunch of bug guts on my car. I went to the Take 5 Car Wash to get a good job of removing the bug guts and road dirt from my car after a long trip. I was initially thrilled by the buy 1 get 1 promo that they were running and planned to use the free wash at a later date. I was also thrilled about the, “If you aren’t satisfied with how clean your car is, go ahead and take a second wash” policy they have. However, the attendants before I entered the wash did not do a great job prescrubing my car so I had to go through again. I was advised to tell them to scrub harder and when I went through a second time, they still didn’t scrub that hard and it was like I hadn’t gotten a wash at all. There were so many bug guts still. For a $22 car wash, I’d expect a very clean car after two runs. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is that the payment attendant Cole very kindly helped me to get a refund (which I still need to hear from customer service from) and then Cole went over to personally scrub my car himself and sent me through a third time. My car is still not as clean as I’d like, but his efforts were above and beyond and should be noticed and rewarded by any superiors he has. I’d recommend this wash if you are getting a very basic wash for a not very dirty car.
I have stopped and restarted my pass on multiple occasions because I don’t see the value of paying $40 a month when I can’t ever get my car washed because they’re either remodeling the entire bay during the middle of summer or they just have cones out in the lanes saying they’re closed even though people are vacuuming their cars just on the other side of the bay. I don’t know why I continue to fall for this monthly plan that is inconsistent to say the least. I will be canceling my subscription, and I will be asking for a refund for the month of June considering today (Sunday July 2nd @11:45am) will be my 3rd time in the past 30 days I have gone out of my way to drive tot he car wash only to find I can’t even enter the express lane. Which is a task in itself considering when you press one to speak to a store representative, it just hangs up before it even rings.I know this because I have resorted to calling beforehand to make sure I don’t waste my time and gas, but once again, not even a ring.
