Great car wash only thing my car stalled at the end of the rail. I don’t if the line pushes a car into another if that happens. I was lucky to get it started and leave before something could of happened. Otherwise the car wash speaks for itself! Inexpensive to get the salt off your car quickly–however if you’re not used to the setup, they don’t give you any heads up. Before you even get into the bay, the teenagers start hosing your car including the windshield–I’m pulling up and couldn’t see where or if they wanted me to put the car in neutral because they had obscured the instruction sign with all the water spraying on my windshield. Teenager was obviously miffed at me so I said this is my first time and I couldn’t see anything. Young woman taking payment was super friendly though.
I would recommend asking people if this is their first time using the service and giving a rundown of procedure if it is, particularly if they’re going to continue having people hose you down from 20 meters out.

Right side mirror was scratched on the exit before leaving the tunnel. 1 of attendant Kenadee Showalter made claim report. She told me having same types of issues with many customers. Yes she is right on this because when we look at exit wall on picture. She told me that they will take care of it. And on Monday I received a call from their claim department telling me that they can not help. I asked why? Easy answers were “sorry we can’t help on this” multiple times. I went there today to see manager there to get answer why they can not help since claim department had no reasonable answers. The manager told me to move my car to cross the street Walmart parking lot saying they need space for their other customers even there are many empty lots. Seems trying to just ignore my issues. So made me to find the way to go legal fight. Not recommending this place since they are not responsible for any issue.By DAWA SHERPA (8 months ago)It was horrible! I just washed my car there and in five minutes I had that huge crack in my windshield. It was morning and the temperature is less than 70°F. So, it’s not a thermal stress problem but a problem in the equipment they use. Definitely not going there again, and I am filing a complaint and pursuing it to the end.Update: They just replied to my review yesterday (after 7 months of the incident), which gives a clear idea about their level of service. For the record, I already filed a complaint using their system, and I they refused to pay anything. Again: I strongly recommend that no one goes there. Your car might end up with a shattered windshield or a scratched body.

Once I was put so close to the car ahead of me, that I was on their wash cycle and came out of the car wash covered in soap. Had to go back through. Used to be my car wash, until…..the old 50+ year old manager who got out of bed on the wrong side accused me of not reading the rules. Yes, I didn’t know cleaning out a truck bed (part of my oversized truck) was one of your rules. I got out of cleaning the bed when you pointed out that rule. Here is a picture of that trailer with gravel all over it. Thats after 4 days and some rain. Was the 26ft trailer in the stall? NO.. my truck was. That’s what I was trying to wash not the trailer. I always wash down the stall wether it’s my car or truck
Go drive on any gravel road after it rains. So you know what it looks like. Then you can go wash your vehicle at your competitors. Since you don’t alow it. That is not MUD. change your sign and add any visible grim.

Automatic spray poles that circle your car vehicle will hit your vehicle. Then, the whole wash will shut down and kick you out! Forcing you to leave with no wash. Oh, then you think you can call the phone number on the door and tell someone to refund your money, right? NOPE, no answer leave a message. 3 days later and still no call back. So if your going to waste your money at this degenerated, outdated, money scam of a place you better pay with credit card. As a credit card payment at least you can call your card company and force a charge back on these scam artists. There are many nearby car wash options in our area, including in Coralville, but I like 4 Seasons Car Wash because of their touchless laser guided system. It’s economical and does a fairly good job. It does not clean as well as having the car hand washed, or pre-washed by hand at some of the local washes, but in most cases it does well enough. It saves time because usually there isn’t a line and it goes quickly. My advice would be to try it out with your vehicle and see if you like how it does.By Greg Johnson (11 months ago)

Overall the experience was positive. The staff was friendly and the free towels and vacuums were nice. I ordered the Hot Wax treatment but was disappointed that the main dirt on the car and windshield weren’t fully removed.
Did a nice job, just passing through the area and needed to get the bugs off my car and I would say this is an acceptable facility if you’re looking to do the same.
No car wash is perfect, but Tidal Wave is significantly better than most of the other car washes I’ve tried in the area. Staff genuinely seem to care about getting your vehicle clean. Routinely take an extra few minutes to scrub the windshield and bumpers in an effort to remove bugs and stuck in grime. The micro towels and spray are a nice addition and they even go so far as to keep them in coolers in the winter time so they don’t freeze.
Armani and Justin do an amazing job on my CRV every time I stop by. They even stopped the line on a not busy day to get mud off after I got stuck in a muddy ditch. Thank you guys for being awesome!
I got a black car with black rims and it’s always looking dirty. I’ve been to a bunch of different places to get car and rims clean and no one does it better than Tidal Wave! They have excellent stations for cleaning the interior of your car as well. I recently getting the monthly pass so you can just run through as many times as you want!
