The new self-service tills are like everything else in this country, they don’t quite work as they are supposed to. They don’t register that you have placed an item in the “bagging area” and refuse to scan anything else until you have placed the item (which is already in the bagging area) in the bagging area. Who designed this – similar tills function problem free in Tescos and M&S.

It says on the front of the store that it’s open between 7-11pm every day of the week, so why is it almost always closed before 10pm?

The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever encountered including harassment of a security guard, not once or twice but every time me and other members of my household (all young females) enter the shop.

The store was barren, the fridges contained ambient stock and no fresh food whatsoever. No sandwiches. I dont know if this was due to a fridge fault , but it looked like they were closing down

Staff are friendly, but limited range of products. Sometimes it takes a while to get served at the tills if they need to approve a sale (ID etc).

  1. It’s a reasonably priced supermarket, they have a huge clothing department which is full of a vast variety of items. They sell lots of fresh made products. Decent shop for all your essentials.

  2. Cafe open, we arrived at 0815. Staff very friendly, drinks were hot and our cooked breakfast appeared in under 10minutes, and was very good! Happy to recommend.

  3. Went there for spices, as we are getting a bit low,we make alot of homemade currys etc, got nearly everything on my list, but not all..no worries i got them eles where, like the loose carrots, parsnips, etc., Helps as we just try nd buy fresh veg, but alot of places now have big bags of them nd tend to go off!

  4. Full range Grocery store with argos outlet. Great options for Asian food, having a really good range.
There are dome great offers on nectar card plus there are vouchers like 4£, 6£ vouchers on weekly shopping.

  5. Just received our delivery this afternoon and I don’t know what possessed the moron to pack our eggs underneath 6 heavy bottles in the same tote? Every single egg smashed to pieces. Waste of time. Have some common sense when packing your deliveries 🤦
