Used to be fairly decent. They have now jacked all the prices of lunch items up to ridiculous levels to force you to spend a fiver on their “lunch deal”.

Normally have a lovely experience with great customer service. However today this was not the case. I understand the stresses of working in a customer based environment, but today when I was having a bad day, a grumpy and some would say rude employee made my day worse. Will return but will use self check out from now on.

The Staff were rude and unwelcoming and made me feel like I wanted to leave as soon as possible. Poor interpersonal skills amongst at least some staff. It makes me less than eager to want to return, I think I’ll just shop elsewhere from now on.

The smell, considering the prices they charge they could at least buy a mop for the filthy floor.

  1. Sainsbury’s are finally getting a The Restaurant Hub located at Sainsbury Swansea. I can’t believe Harry Ramsdens is coming to Swansea. The Swansea Restaurant Hub is where the old cafe was (Fresh kitchen) at the rear of the store by the tills. The Restaurant Hub includes a @harryramsdensuk @edsdiners and a cafe. Good luck with the grand opening today

  2. A good local store. Well stocked with items that we needed. Quality of fresh produce was a plus, better than other stores we have noticed going downhill with the quality. We found that prices were very comparable to other stores. Vegetarian options and prices were a plus. We would recommend this store to others. We were also looking for car oil. The store used to stock this but unfortunately we could not find it and had to stop over at the petrol station. We used the self service and had no issues at the tills.

  3. Lovely staff in the cafe couldn’t help us enough and so friendly and had a lovely cup of tea and coffee with toast.
Plus my daughter was really impressed as it was the first time she has ever seen anyone in a wheelchair working in a shop this made her day know that everyone is treated equally

  4. Shops is decent but went to use the toilet people sitting in there for nearly 40 mns hiding probably staff hiding from a shift as when I finally got a cubicle it was a Sainsbury’s employee that had been in there for 40 odd minutes, also couldn’t use the disabled toilet as the toilet was completely blocked with loo roll and shoplifted products socks etc if a disabled person wanted to use the loo they would be unable to and that is not good at all…. Store bathrooms need to be actually cleaned the pee stains on the bathroom look years old…..

  5. Beware the Euro Car Parks, heaven forbid you try to spend money at Sainsbury’s twice in 1 day – you will get a parking fine with incorrect times. Make sure you always challenge these. I had a breakfast at the cafe, went for a walk in Gower then stopped to buy some food on the way home, but then got a parking fine for being in the car park for 3 hours 41 minutes
