4 weeks agoThe supermarket side of it is really good. Go every week. They just need to focus on the cafe a bit more they need chefs who know how to cook an egg. I go for a breakfast most often and I always take it back because the yolk if rock hard. Aren’t they supposed to be runny. Bacon is sometimes chewy and the hash browns are sometimes soft. I know it’s not the Ritz but they just need chefs who can cook.3 months agoNow COVID has disappeared we hope, we have returned as regular shoppers and customers of the Cafe Store has since been refurbished including the cafe. Now called ” Fresh Kitchen ” The store is well laid out and looks bright , all that is needed to make the visit worthwhile We have made many return visits since 2019 . This visit included breakfast which was very good , and served on preheated plates. Good value. Cafe now has a trolley park, free Wi -fi and charging facilities for mobile phones etc.. One of the larger stores including a pharmacy Specsavers and petrol station. On the same site as Marks and Spencer sharing a very large car park. Usual very high standard store and excellent staff, who are very helpful when requiredin the last weekI shop here about 3 times a week, and I can’t buy my minced beef here anymore the packaging has completely spoilt the look and taste of it. Also bring back the butchers counter where I can buy my mince, or one lamb or one lamb shank.3 months agoGood location away from Fareham centre. Good large car park, petrol station. Store is a good size and normally well stocked. There is an Argos, my focus on this visit. Team are helpful and available. There are self serve tablets. Area is easily accessed as there is only one level at this store.2 months agoGood Parking. Great choice of produce. Used the smart scan hand held device for 1st time and would highly recommend this. Bonus is M&S and other stores nearby. Petrol good price to.

3 months agoI use this market because it is closest to my house and I really like vegetables and fruits from this chain. Very nice and professional employees. Always happy to help. The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes it’s hard to get less popular products here like mini marshmallows, wafers and ice cream sauces, etc. I also don’t like the price of fuel. Definitely not the cheapest petrol station within 5 miles. But when you here in the write time you can see sky like this. Both photos have been done same day few seconds after each other. One side a rainbow and behind you very dramatic sunset.5 months agoWhat a poor level of customer service, I just tried to swap an item, you would think I was buying the entire shop. A very simple request was met with such derision, I left feeling I was asking for a favour…. sainsbury you need to up your game…2 weeks agoVisited today and was helped by 2 very friendly, happy, helpful members of staff…. Ethan in Argos and Connor at self service checkouts. A credit to your company. Well mannered, happy and helpful. Thank you.2 months agoAlways good when I pass though for what I need. Best price for fuel at the moment aswell. And with my nectar credit card I’m getting 4 points per pound 💪🏾5 months agoNice calm shopping experience and nice cafe. Assistants are nice and friendly. Only Negative is they would not open a till for a lady who had a full big trolley of shopping for her, so she had to use the basket self checkout isle, I thought this was unbelievable seeing there were excess staff there.

There are vast range of collections available, very good supermarket with many more isles and sections stocked up with lots of good and best products.
The sainsbury supermarket provides nectar points which can be collected on purchases by scanning your nectar card. Based on the points you can claim rewards and also nectar points works with other partnership stores as well.
It’s very convenient to the location surround portwood area, Bitten park, waitrose, etcetera.
There are amazing offers at many occasions, never miss them because it’s more affordable to buy at correct time.
They also offere online services which are useful to get notified about the combos and offers.
If you are looking for good quality products then sainsbury is one of the best stores you can visit and they are stocked up with new products everyday.
The customers service is quite amazing and wonderful maintenence with precise supervision, The staff members are really friendly and will help to find any products and will guide us on the product’s allergens.
To give a overall rating I’ll give them 10 / 10, I’m really happy with their cleanliness, stock management and availability of the store at everytime I visited to purchase something and I always find the expected products.
Top notch as ever as expected from a Sainsbury’s.
Plenty of parking spots, great access for people with disability or kids.
Plenty of tills and self service checkouts as you’d expect.
Generally a better experience than the Waitrose down the road.
My one stop for all my groceries while living along Burgess Road. It sells almost everything you will ever need as a student. The aisle are wide and spacious so you don’t have to cramp with people. It also offers deliveries free delivery if your order is above £40 pound with a delivery pass. Besides that, they also constantly have nectar price offers so it is highly recommended that you obtain a nectar card to make full use of the discounts. Furthermore, there is smartshop facility offered such that you can scan as you go and just finalize your bill at the machine.
Oh dear ,the walkway up not working boxed off ,maybe for the same time as the other one , (which is still not working ) months !!!! A joke really , had to wait several minutes to get into lift to get down to car park ,one person freaked out loaded up with shopping frightened of using lifts . A truly remarkable company .
The usual good value for money you’d expect from a large food retailer, but with an extra surcharge of at least 75p per item across the whole store range(sometimes as much as £1.75) that this particular Sainsburys charges just because it’s used by the student population, which is mostly based in portswood, so be wary, you get the range of goods that you require but not the value for money that you get elsewhere.
