Great layout. Went to Argos to collect some items and it was a very quick trip. Went looking for books and got the 4 volumes of heartstopper for only £6 which is the lowest I’ve ever seen it sold brand new.
They also have a good selection of summer clothes at the moment for all ages.
This has a large car park and there is a lovely cafe to the left of the main entrance. The place is always clean and plenty of staff around to help if needed. Till are always well manned and the quality of their food is good.
Excellent shopping complex. Wide variety mainly food but a range of clothes for all ages. Bonus of Argos being inside the building. Fresh bakery and hot food on offer combined with alcohol sales. No problem parking and near fast food outlet.Perol facilities also
Should cater for most
I have just read Alana’s review of again the appalling thuggish security and management in this store and I will be writing to the licensing authorities to ask them not to renew this store’s right to trade. These moronic thugs don’t have the right to treat people the way they think they can! If I were Alana I would be taking legal advice with regards to suing them. Google reviews say one one star review they should read the rest of them? My original experience. Apparently asking a reasonable question in a reasonable way about a lack of till operators is a reason to bar someone. I had to ask a member of staff to get another till opened because of large queues. An ignorant “manager” called Chelsea turned up pretending she had something to do with getting the other till opened. I politely asked why there were twelve tills when there was only ever one or two open in my experience. I got ignored three times and then given a lecture about how I had an attitude? Just for asking a question? She then got an intimidating security guard to say I was banned? Appallingly confrontational inexperienced amateurish management at its worst . Marks here I come. At least they know how to treat customers!! Quick update a day later. Apparently the reviews department take the word of an amateur manager and a thuggish security guard who have clearly closed ranks to mild criticism from a decent and once regular customer, they won’t even look at cctv to prove I’m telling the truth? Apparently lies are the new truth for Sainsburys Bangor? But hey when you have a ceo that says his business is not profiteering from the cost of living crisis it’s no surprise. Taking into account that milk is £1.75 in Sainsbury’s and £1.40 at Primacy? Silver crest duck with pancakes is £8 in local butchers but £12 in Sainsbury’s? It seems the lies and insult to customers starts at the top. My advice is go local save money and get service with a smile. Sainsbury’s seem to have forgotten the premise that made them?
If I could give zero stars I would. Only two tills with people working at them and the automated self scan checkouts stop scanning about every 3 or 4 items scanned so the attendant has to come over 3-4 times on a small to medium shopping trip. Not to mention a lot of the shelves are always half empty.
Appalling shop.
