a month agoNeeded gas and were starving (so few places in the UK are open early for breakfast! LOL) so we ate at the café inside. We had a solid little breakfast of haggis and egg sandwiches. Happy to report (having had similar all over Scotland) that they were pretty good. And a GREAT value!3 weeks agoRude staff and extremely lazy. The old woman working the self checkout on the morning of the 10th August most certainly doesn’t deserve her job. The young staff have a lot more enthusiasm towards their job that that old boot.4 months agoTesco Extra offers a diverse range of products, including international and unique items, as well as a large clothing section and cheap prices. The store can feel a bit cramped at times, but the layout is generally easy to navigate. Overall, it’s a great option for those in search of a convenient one-stop shop.9 months agoBig, clean. Inside Retail park with a lot of other shops nearby. The gas price is reasonable. Thanks for the toilet available for customers.4 months agoWhere are all the managers? Employees totally unmanaged. In groups chatting when people are waiting at tills. Pickers chatting together blocking ailes and ignoring shoppers getting through. Staff in the cafe chatting to the staff behind the counter whilst customers waiting to be served. Complete lack of supervision. Worst I’ve ever seen.

a week agoSupermarket really close to Inverness city centre which offers a lot of to-go foods. It has a wide variety of snacks and drinks. It also has customer toilets, which are mostly clean and wheelchair accessible.
a month agoWe get quick picnic type lunches here. There is a variety of fruit, fruit juices, fresh bread, and pastries. Ready to go cheeses and dips. Muslei bars and sandwiches. The sandwiches have a limited choice of vegetarian. After I had cheese and chutney and then a falafel wrap, there were no more choices, so I preferred getting the fresh bread and buying something to put in it.
The automated tills were quick and there was always staff nearby to help.
3 months agoSome staff need to lose their attitude and leave their personal life at the door.Overall a very nice shopping experience however a few labels missing from shelves and a couple of tripping hazards on the shop floor.
a year agoMedium size like for Tesco shops but useful. Available recycling for batteries, cartridges, plastic bags and toilets.in the last weekStaff are not very polite, I only nip here if I need few items so….use the self checkout today was a example of rude staff I had grand total of 12 items I item I scanned need assistance but it then some how was cleared just as I was putting last 4 items through rude member staff said you have 8 items on side only 7 scanned I said iam sorry have not noticed which item was it so found it was a pack of biscuits which was item at beginning that need assistance but some how cleared it was put through then she still stood and doubled check my shopping very rude I might add felt like a shop lifter some how don’t think I will be going back this was my last vist as have been spoken rudelybefore ,rant over be nice to everyone dose not cost a dam thing !!!

Tesco in Inverness: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at Tesco, there are certain rules and guidelines that customers are expected to follow. These rules are put in place to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience for everyone. Here are some important rules to keep in mind while shopping at Tesco:
1. Wear a face covering: It is mandatory to wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth while shopping at Tesco, unless you are exempt for medical reasons.
2. Follow one-way systems: Many Tesco stores have implemented one-way systems to help customers maintain social distancing. It is important to follow these directional signs and flow with the designated traffic.
3. Practice social distancing: Remember to keep a safe distance of at least 2 meters (6 feet) from others while shopping. This includes maintaining distance at the checkout, in aisles, and while waiting in queues.
4. Use contactless payment options: Tesco encourages customers to use contactless payment methods, such as card payments or mobile payments, to reduce the need for physical contact with cash or card machines.
5. Respect store opening hours: Tesco has set specific opening hours, which may vary depending on the location. It is important to respect these hours and avoid attempting to enter or shop outside of the designated times.
- Arrive with a shopping plan: Before entering Tesco, it is beneficial to have a shopping list or plan in mind. This can help reduce the time spent in the store and minimize unnecessary browsing.
- Follow product quantity limits: Tesco may have limits on the number of certain products that each customer can purchase. It is important to adhere to these limits to ensure fair distribution.
- Be considerate of others: Remember to be respectful of other shoppers and Tesco staff. Avoid stockpiling items and only take what you need. Additionally, be patient and understanding if there are delays or changes in store operations.
- Scan Clubcard or Tesco app: If you have a Tesco Clubcard or the Tesco app, remember to scan it during your checkout. This can help you earn loyalty points, access personalized offers, and receive digital receipts.
- Bag packing: Due to hygiene measures, Tesco may not allow employees to handle or pack your bags. It is advisable to bring your own reusable bags or be prepared to pack your groceries yourself at the designated packing area.
While shopping at Tesco, it is important to familiarize yourself with these rules and guidelines. By following these guidelines, we can all contribute to creating a safer shopping environment for everyone.

Everything that you need and more, helpful and friendly staff, clean and tidy, something for everyones price price bracket. Also has photo both
Very busy store, specifically busy with staff roaming around with there trolleys doing online orders!
Big Tesco, they’ve got everything. It’d be rare if you can’t find an item that you need here.
This is a great source for travelers. Frequently we get their mail deal…. Which includes: a main (sandwich, salad, pasta, pocket, sushi, etc) a snack, (fresh cut fruit, chocolate bar, crisps, fresh veg, olives, etc) and a drink all for a low low combination price. Which is a lot lower than if you buy the things separately.
It makes a great picnic. Or a quick lunch? They also have a large selection of fruits and veg so it’s easy for us travelers. It’s also a great place to buy your shortbread cookies and chocolate bars instead of the souvenir shops.
