It’s a petrol station…. plenty of pumps. Tesco mini shop and self service car wash and air line etc. Supermarket fuel prices.

This Tesco garage is located on the entry to the new Tesco extra and has a large forecourt that is well laid out. The pumps offer the option to pay in the kiosk or to pay at the pump. I usually pay at the pump to save time but this time I chose to go into the kiosk to see what was on offer. There was the usual snacks and sweets along with the fridge full of drinks and sandwiches so you could get your meal deal plus all the other items you would expect, for example, oil, antifreeze, spare bulbs etc. This garage is conveniently placed and competitively priced. Wheelchair access was good.

Pat at pumps fast. Has air and water, pressure washer and vacuum with contactless payment. Ran out of diesel at some pumps and not clearly marked for those quing who needed it. Courtyard could be tidier.

I would like to praise the driver who delivered some shopping to my Dad yesterday. I live in Fareham Hampshire and find it difficult to visit my Dad as I a very ill. My Dad lives in Billinghay Lincolnshire and has recently been discharged from hospital. He is housebound now so I offered to have some shopping delivered.

The shopping online was not an unpleasant experience. Once booked I informed Dad. On the delivery day the driver rang to inform me that he found noone home to deliver the shopping. After a very patient wait I realised that I had given the incorrect door number. The driver was very patient and understanding and I would very much like to thank him for his kindness and patience.

He helped my Dad unpack the shopping and is in my view a perfect advertisement for Tesco. I’m afraid I did not catch his name but I really would like to make sure he knows what a huge difference his kindness and patience has made both to myself and my Dad. Thank you

Came to the store Wednesday evening… checked out via self service, no staff there to help, across the store having a social. Finally a young girl came back… I kindly asked her to remove the security tag, she snatch the item out my hand, didn’t saw a word to me and handed it back. Made me feel very awkward

Tesco “Superstore”. What does that word, Superstore, conjure in your mind? I had images of the grandest Tesco I would ever see, shelves marching on into infinity, ceilings so high you couldn’t see the top. Instead I arrived to find a bog standard Tesco, not even the same size as an Extra. Very disappointed in the false advertising

How to Shop Smart at Tesco Lincoln: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at Tesco can be a quick and convenient way to get your grocery shopping done. Whether you’re a seasoned Tesco shopper or new to the supermarket, here are some simple guidelines to help you navigate the aisles and make the most of your shopping trip:

  • 1. Make a shopping list: Before heading to Tesco, take a few minutes to make a shopping list. This will help you stay focused and ensure you don’t forget anything you need.
  • 2. Plan your trip: Consider the time and day you plan to visit Tesco. Weekends and evenings tend to be busier, so if you prefer a less crowded shopping experience, aim for quieter times.
  • 3. Bring your own bags: Tesco encourages customers to bring their own bags to reduce plastic waste. So, don’t forget to bring reusable bags to carry your groceries.
  • 4. Start with fresh produce: Make your way to the fresh produce section first. This way, you can select the best fruits and vegetables before moving on to other aisles.
  • 5. Compare prices: Tesco offers a wide range of products, so it’s worth comparing prices to find the best deals. Look out for price promotions or special offers on the shelves.
  • 6. Utilize the Tesco Clubcard: If you’re a Tesco Clubcard member, don’t forget to scan your card at the checkout. You can earn points for every purchase, which can be used for discounts on future shopping trips.
  • 7. Take advantage of self-checkout counters: Tesco provides self-checkout counters for small, quick transactions. If you have a few items, using self-checkout can save you time.
  • 8. Check for online discounts: If you prefer shopping from the comfort of your own home, Tesco often provides online discounts and promotional offers. Be sure to check their website before placing an order.
  • 9. Pay attention to the expiration dates: When selecting items, make sure to check the expiration dates. Tesco typically displays the dates clearly, allowing you to choose the freshest products.
  • 10. Be considerate and patient: Finally, remember to be considerate of other shoppers and Tesco staff. Follow social distancing guidelines, treat others with respect, and be patient during peak times.

Shopping at Tesco can be a hassle-free experience if you plan ahead, take advantage of discounts, and prioritize fresh produce. By following these guidelines, you can make the most of your shopping trip and enjoy the convenience Tesco offers.

  1. Changed the coffee place 3 times in the last 2 months…??
I understand you’re aiming to gain more sales by making people walk around the whole store for essentials, but who’s genius idea was to place coffee next to toilet paper?!
Yes, Marketing team has to do some work, but please don’t let people with a cleaner’s IQ to do marketing work!

  2. I LOVE this shop but the click n collect trolleys wow you need to calm down. There should be a speed limit I reckon. Just ruined my shopping trip thst I actually took the time to try and do

Very discouraged by the ridiculous clubcard only prices, forcing customers into joining loyalty scheme to get good value. I recently reconsidered other supermarkets, and would reccomend that others do the same. Also disappointed that Tesco never returned to 24/7.

  4. Always disappointed when I come in here. It’s my local so I do for that reason only. Shelves never stocked, always have to pull stock forward to get products. Many of the staff are so rude and chat about their personal lives in front of customers. Online shopping carts block aisles, empty cardboard cartons on shelves. Very unprofessional set up
