Self-Service Car Wash Prices in the US

Here is a price table of self-car washes in the US:

Type of Self-Car Wash Price Description
Basic Self-Car Wash $5 – $10 Includes washing, waxing, and vacuuming.
Comprehensive Self-Car Wash $10 – $15 Includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing the interior and exterior of your car.
Self-Service Car Wash $5 – $10 You wash your car yourself using the equipment provided by the self-car wash.

Here are some factors that can affect the cost of a self-car wash:

  • The size of your car: Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
  • The level of detail you want: A more comprehensive wash will typically cost more than a basic wash.
  • The location of the self-car wash: Self-car washes in urban areas will typically cost more than self-car washes in rural areas.
  • The time of day you get your car washed: Self-car washes are typically busiest during peak hours, such as weekends and evenings.

If you are looking for a more affordable option, you can consider doing a self-service car wash. Self-service car washes typically cost around $5 – $10, and you can wash your car as often as you like. However, self-service car washes can be time-consuming and messy.

Ultimately, the best way to find out the cost of a self-car wash in your area is to call around to different self-car washes and get quotes. You can also use online resources, such as Yelp or Google Maps, to compare prices.

Owners/management extremely rude. They hang over your shoulder and watch your every move, and the second the timer runs out start screaming you need to leave. Wouldn’t even let me put more money to keep washing. Left streaks all over my paint. Had to go to Grove Wash right up the street to get a good wash. You get a lot more wash time for Your money at Grove Wash too… Neighborhood car wash is pretty nice if you go there late at night when the management normally isn’t there…

Staff were very helpful and wanted me to leave with a good clean. I wasn’t satisfied with the touchless wash (my car had needed a wash for some time so it wasn’t fair to expect that to do the job alone). They set me up in the hand wash for no charge and I got several cycles to get a better clean. One of the staff even got out a rag and personally cleaned out a tricky part under my rear spoiler. Very friendly and earned a good rating for being a place that values customer satisfaction.

Nice car wash clean and tidy. Everything always works. I just wish the brush arms went from front to back. I drive a pickup truck in makes it kind of hard to wash. I’ll be back

$9 touchless car wash. Machine was old, but took my $ and gave me change.

Wash was great, dryer stays in for a while.

Better than the other (zips) wash on Kingshighway that won’t take cash and costs more.

Love the fact I can go at any time since they’re open 24/7, I was a little skeptical about the touchless option, because my car was pretty dirty..I would have placed a bet that it would need to be handwashed …now I didn’t get the dryer part for some reason since it was included in the price ….so that’s alright … I personally think it did an incredible job…it is clean clean, just needs a good quick wax and I’m very impressed

I stopped by on a Friday to use a self-service bay to use the sprayer after fixing a power steering leak so I could make sure the leak was resolved. I swiped my card where I saw it said it would charge me $2.00. I sprayed the spots off. Put the sprayer up and left. The following Tuesday I noticed a $10 charge on my debit card that was no longer pending (so not a temporary hold). I called and spiked with Matt and explained. He told me there’s a red button under the card reader you’re supposed to press when you’re done or it will continue to charge your card and give you access to use the sprayer, brush, etc. until a max of $10. I told him I didn’t see that instruction. As a note, it may have been there and I didn’t pay close enough attention, I don’t know for sure. He told me he’d look at their system to make sure it had charged me the $10 and if so he would refund the difference. Less than an hour later he called and left me a message saying he did see the charge and he refunded the $8 to my card and it should show up within 7 days. He also reminded me for future use to make sure I press the red button when I’m done. I appreciate that I could easily reach someone and that they were not only reasonable but quick to resolve my concern and explain how to avoid it in the future. I will definitely use them again. And I’ll remember to press the red button! Thanks Matt!

Out of shampoo !!only had a Sign on one side out of shampoo. tried the other side and that was out also!! Had to find that out when i already put My money in..The dryer wasn’t so great, runs on a low blow .( had to use the dryer to now get my dog atleast dried). My dog still ended up wet because the dryer sucks.. my first time here.. wasted my money and my time..

It’s been warm here the last couple days after a couple of weeks of really cold weather for February. So the car wash has been very crowded as you can see in pictures, still good water pressure and all that but the automatic wash broke down on me the last 2 nights. I use the car wash all the time and this is the first time it’s ever been down. It’s a good car wash. A little hard to get to. But good

Drove all the way up here from out of town on a Sunday and it was closed. People who work have exactly two days a week where they have free time to do things like this. Those days are Saturdays and Sundays. This is a self service dog wash. There’s no reason for it to be closed for an entire day on the weekend. If it actually takes that long for someone to clean and sanitize, then close on a weekday.

Took our husky to Patriot Car wash on the 4th of July weekend. They provide full service, self-serve tubs and dryers for your pup. Balto had a great time. They even have staff to attend to it after your done.

  1. I would like a refund. Just purchased your best wash the “Dragon Fire” which I immediately regretted. Your blowers didn’t dry the car which is here or there but the touchless car wash DIDN’T, I repeat DID NOT WASH THE CAR… THERE’S DIRT EVERYWHERE.

  2. The only selves serve car wash I will go to there’s always soap in the wand and brush and there’s always “wax” I’m the gun too. They seem to have them adjusted so they put out a generous amount wich is not common anymore unfortunately. I pass 6 other car washes to get here. And I’ve tried them all several times. As a guy who washes his car every other day at the least. I’m happy to give castle car wash my $ 7 dollars worth of quarters every day .

  3. Fair price, wash came out pretty well. Only wish the dryer on the automatic wash dried your car a little better than it does. Also nice that you receive a free vacuum coin with purchase so you don’t have to pay for the vacuum. Vacuums worked nicely too btw.

  4. The equipment was falling apart, they charge for vacuuming now, the allotted wash time seems MUCH shorter and there wasn’t anyone around to help with issues. Overall, pretty sad state of affairs and I don’t recommend the place anymore. So sad too. I used to go a couple of times a week.

  5. I got the most expensive car wash. It’s nice that you get a free token to vacuum. Even with the expensive car wash, my car wasn’t perfectly clean but not too bad
