    Got several beach items for my aunt and uncle. We were will them for a week right below their corner condo, as ours was. I was not able to buy a gorgeous tee-shirt like I got in SC the last time I was there… We did buy a few food items.

    My 2016 Toyota 4 runner was due for an oil change. My normal repair shop in Michigan could not get me in before we left on our trip to Myrtle Beach, so I decided to give Walmart a shot. Write up guy was polite, I ask him how much for a 0w20 synthetic oil change. He replied $54.88. My local guy is $60 out the door so that sounded fair.I also asked if it was Castrol oil (that is what the sign indicated) He said that or Mobil 1, he wasn’t sure which one they had in the tank right now. I asked how long should I expect and he stated 45-an hour. Great, I’ll see you in an hour. I come back in an hours time. I stand with 2 other customers for 10 minutes waiting for someone to help us. I then start searching for an associate. First one looked at me like I was speaking a different language so I moved on to the next. This associate told me she would locate the person to check us out. 5 minutes later, someone finally showed up to help. She cashed out another customer and it was my turn. I gave my name and she found the bill and keys. $80.29 is your total. What? I inquired. I was quoted $54.88 Ummm you have a special oil filter that was $14.47 and it took an additional qt of oil $9.02 but they did give you a $2.22 discount (nervous laughter).I stayed I pay $60 at my local shop and never heard of a special filter. I paid and left upset at the bait and switch. I get to my car and find oily fingerprints on the door and the sticker shows Penzoil oil. Moral of story, Walmart should not be in the auto business. What a rip-off. I guess they Roll forward the prices in that department.

    Easy access of 17 Business. Tons of parking. Massive selection. I had to go in person as the automotive section never answers their phones. And don’t man their service desks as I found out. Labour shortages ? Interesting bag packing on a circular wheel.

    Probably one of the better Walmart in the area staff was friendly but I definitely like the guy in hardware on given me advice on spray paint, making mountains for Christmas village. Was awesome. I do wish they hire more cashiers.

    I hate this place! 15 Person Checkout Registers, only 1 Open. Can’t get any Associate’s to help you. If you do find one. The 1st. thing they say is: this isn’t my Department. If they hadn’t shut down all the Mom & Pop store’s in town, I’d Never go back. If you can, Avoid this store at all cost!

    Just left Walmart Supercenter on Augusta Road in West Columbia/Cayce/Springdale/ South Congaree & Lexington, S.C. Picked up my prescriptions, went shopping as usual, grabbed me a whole lot of baking items I’ve seen today. I was very happy and proud of my self. Also grabbed St. Patrick Day and Easter Sunday and Easter ? items as well. Everything was stocked ☝ as usual and let and checked out happy and blessed as always. Everyone and everybody who works at this Walmart is wonderful and a true blessings all over. Thank you and God bless you all!!!!??????????☺???????✌????????☕?✅✔☑???????????

    BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! My son purchased a 55” tv for $345. As soon as he brought it home and took it out of the box, it was damaged. The bottom corner was open, exposing the wires inside the tv. He immediately packed it back up and took it right back. The associate there (either named Tanika or Tameeka- after all the yelling at my son, she wouldn’t speak loud enough to clearly give her name) told him they couldn’t refund it bc the serial number on the tv did not match the receipt, however this was the tv Walmart sold him in the box! So apparently as a consumer, we are tasked with taking the tv out and making sure it matches the serial number on the box and also making sure Walmart doesn’t sell us someone else’s junk that they returned! I never knew all that was on the customer! She told him they don’t sell used stuff-CLEARLY a lie, as this tv was both used and damaged. Refusing to refund him was adding insult to injury. They then got in a yelling match and she proceeded to tell him, an adult, to tell his mom to come get him. So I came out to the store to help my *adult* son get a resolution due to this poor customer service. After she previously said there was no manager there for him to speak to, a team lead was finally sent out to assist. After looking at the cameras and confirming he did purchase this TV, she decided to give a refund, but stated that we, as customers, shouldn’t buy their products if tape is on the box….. I’ve never heard something so ridiculous in my entire life. I don’t know how many of you look at the bottom of a box for tape to decide whether or not to purchase, but as a consumer, we should be able to trust what Walmart puts on the shelves to sell! So he was made to feel as though this was his fault and was offered no apology for the whole ordeal. Please take your business anywhere else!

    Would give this location zero stars if I could. On my visit I was overcharged for an item I didn’t receive. When I returned I had to stand in the customer service line for at least 1/2 hour. The customer service manager was extremely rude to me & said she had to watch the tapes before she did anything, treating me like a criminal! After another 20 min she returned & then FINALLY gave me credit for what I didn’t receive. I can’t stand going into any WalMart but was running an errand for a client. Such a sad world we live in.

  1. This walmart is a zoo. Literally. I know it’s not the stores fault, but because of the location, it is so overly crowded, and it’s very hard to get in and get out in a timely manner. People just stand around like they’re hanging out and don’t care about the people trying to get by. It was a terrible experience, but because of the customers, not the store itself.

  2. Overall bad customer service. Stopped in for a beach umbrella, (costco is sold out now), it was busy and finding good help was impossible.
    Went to the middle area set up for beach/summer gear, fairly organized but noone stocking seemed to know anything when asked. Went to a cashier in Garden to get a price check and she told me to go to customer service even though there was a tag on the interior and I knew she could type the sku in…super frustrating.
    Grabbed a striped umbrella, which by the way DOES NOT COLLAPSE WELL, rang out at self checkout, and then got to stand in line at the exit because they had one gentleman handling the crowd.
