We were told we would have to dig up the street and were given quotes from $20000 to $50000 from the other plumbing companies. Root masters was able to clear it! I am beyond happy and grateful! I highly recommend root masters.By christine Vaughan (a week ago)On June 14, 2022 Rootmasters did work at my house to fix my pipe to the city tap. I had an inspection when the house was purchased showing there was a crack just before the connection to the city line. I provided the video and written report to Frank when contracting with him. My receipt and quote state he attached a new PVC sewer to city tap risor. I paid the $5,000 bond to the city of Farmington prior to work starting that was held until the city did the inspection post work. I paid Frank $8,000 once the work was completed. The $5,000 bond was returned a few weeks after. I continued to have back up issues in my basement throughout this past year. Sewer Masters came out and each time said “our work is good, it is not the reason your basement is backing up” After the third time, I called for a second opinion from Thornton and Groom, they quoted me saying I needed approx. 8g in work and showed me a picture of a crack in my pipe. This was shocking and confusing since I hired Sewer Masters to fix this issue. I had the original inspector that did the original video come out and scope it again. He reported the issue he recommended I get fixed was not addressed. Sewer Masters stopped 2 ft short of where the crack was prior to the city tap. The work he did was not to the city tap, he stopped 2ft short so the crack I hired him to fix was still present. When I contacted Frank from sewer masters regarding this, he told me the crack was never the issue and his work was fine. The work is not fine, he did not complete the work I hired him to do. I just want the actual problem fixed without occurring any additional expenses and Root Masters is refusing to respond or address this issue.By Kristin Paulson (3 weeks ago)Root Master came in and fixed our sewer at the T. This is a competitive field, so it’s important to find someone qualified. All 3 times, Jake/Jacob has arrived- he is thorough and has multiple types of sewer cleaning machines to get the job done. Furnace went out early on a cold day. They sent out a tech within an hour. Z was professional, knowledgeable, fixed the issues, and gave me a bunch of useful info and tips to keep the furnace running at its best. Highly recommend. thanks Z and Levine & Sons!
I have used this business for two other jobs over the past few years; however this particular time, I feel will be my last. I schedule an appointment for someone to come out and investigate my leaking faucet on my archaic cement utility sink. As expected, it needed replacing which I was in accepting to. Mike C. obviously had to return another day with parts, so it was scheduled a week later. After finishing up my first appointment and exiting my home, he made a comment about “getting my screen door fixed.” I don’t appreciate comments about my home that are not related to the reason one was called out for. Now for the second part, the deconstruction and removal of my old sink and installation of the new. Everything went to plan: he completed the job and I paid. After cleaning up small debris he missed, and cleaning up the new sink I found it was leaking. I also noticed that the washing machine hoses were on the wrong pipes AND he had labeled one with a “H” but labeled it incorrectly. I called and he came back a few hours later to change out a gasket and switch the hoses. One was leaking and apparently NOW is in need of replacing. While he was doing all that, I happened to step outside and go to my garage, when I noticed blue plastic on my walkway leading to my driveway AND in a 4 ft area where he had parked his van prior in the driveway. After he finished and everything seemed legit, I watched to see if he would clean up the same blue chunks that led to my backdoor or not, and he just walked past. Debris is to be expected, but I have a dog and if she stepped on one of those large, jagged pieces of blue plastic, I would have been furious. I cleaned it up. These are the reasons why I will not be doing further business with Levine & sons. Only if there are new issues with this sink, will I be calling again.
From Denise in the office to the entire staff. They communicated well, kept the house clean during work and did the job the right way! (I hope) ;)… They are my go to spot for all my plumbing needs. Everything is expensive. I was charged $2500 to dig up a 3ft hole in my bathroom to replace the shower “pee trap” and re-cement it in. They took 2 hours the first day digging, and just 30 minutes the second day to fill in the cement. After seeing the job in action and completed I did think the price was a little high. BUT everyone was professional, house stayed clean, and I am not doing it myself and didn’t really have a choice..
Nothing says fun like a Sunday sewer back up. It was easy to schedule to have a technician come out. He was on-time, great personality, explained what he was doing along each step of the way. The Technician listened to what we said about the issue. He protected our floors, wore boot covers in the house. He was GREAT! I would love to have D’Angelo work for me. He got the drain opened and he cleaned up. For a Sunday on short notice I thought it was a good value.
William and his team were great. They explained everything that they were going to do. They worked quickly and efficiently. When finished they showed me what was done and cleaned up after themselves. I always call on Levine & Sons for all my plumbing needs.
