5 months agoThis is right in the centre of Winchester. Though it doesn’t have parking of its own for shoppers, there are parkings nearby where you can go and park for a fee. You can get all your groceries here and most things. It’s comfortable to shop here actuallya week agoAlways find what I need in store & always seem to be stocked on what they do sell, rarely ever a long waiting time & staff always friendly & helpful. Only thing which would make it better is if the store was able to stay open as late as others but obviously size & location does effect this so it’s only a minor thing.5 months agoOn average wether it’s Sainsbury’s or any supermarket there all in competition the latest craze is we all compare to Aldi prices wether in store or on T V adds it’s compared to Aldi to get you to shop ate there supermarket so if you like a particullar supermarket it makes not much difference so it’s up to every individual or family which supermarket you decide to shop at but one thing I’ll say as long as the ingredients hasn’t changed check out Sainsbury’s cream crackers they are one of the best I’ve tasted spread with butter or any spread I like olive spread with cheese or marmite and taste the difference compared to all the other supermarkets there own make there lovely John Gillingham3 months agoFantastic range of everyday produce always available.Friendly helpful staff.👍a month agoIt’s rather basic for a sainsburys, staff are friendly but stock can run out quite quickly

- Sainsbury’s stores generally open at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM in the morning.

I can usually get everything I need at reasonable prices. Free parking. Self checkout and scan whilst you shop make getting out quickly and without delays. Nectar points mount up and there are always useful coupons and offers. Always a good variety of products and fresh produce.
Knowledgeable…. Very knowledgeable (the staff)! What a fantastic suggestion for a late afternoon glass of wine – Al Fresco style!
Oliver’s Battery: Good layout with a very comprehensive range of products. Competitive prices, with or without Nectar membership. The toilets were not in the best state with one urinal out of order. The hand dryer did not work either.
Overall a good experience.
Certainly one of the nicer Sainsbury’s stores to walk around, plenty of space in the car park, there was a lack of trolleys available to place our baby carrier on however.. The availability of food was good so there was no struggle to complete our shop, the prices are as good as could be expected in the current dismal climate.
I visited for the argos mainly which wasn’t great as they don’t have much variety of the things they are supposed to sell.
That aside sainsburys in itself isn’t too bad of a shop, frozen section is a little small but not bad all in all.
