- Reviews:Prices are great, as usual for Walmart, but in-store experience is HORRIBLE at this location. Many things are in locked cabinets. Pushing red button designed to bring help does nothing. If you happen to find an employee, they’ll tell you they don’t have a key. And it’s on you to find the person with the key… they refuse to assist! “I don’t have a radio” is what the person told me! Around the rooms to try on clothes you’ll often find employees deep in conversation with each other and not engaged in the obvious need to restock clothes all around them. As you approach to ask to be let in to a room you are treated as an annoyance for interrupting their social time. Employees here ignore or treat customers with contempt. And I didn’t even mention the parking lot, where you need keep your head on a swivel because there are various people hanging around outside doing who-knows-what. Head to any other retailer in the area for an interesting comparison experience.By David D. (a week ago)This Walmart is conveniently located on Robert Street. There is plenty of off Street parking available. This store is large & has everything! including a subway restaurant. This store & the restrooms were clean when I was there on the day of this review. I give a five-star review from my experience.By Troy Stewart (in the last week)Worst walmart, I’ve been in. Rude customer service, poor food quality, and top it off with uncleanness. Where is OSHA at?By Geo San (4 months ago)Horrible. I’ve gone twice now with empty primo water jugs to replace them with full ones for the discount. Both times the cage did not give a discount ticket nor any employee was helpful when I explained the situation right after it happened. I have lost 24$ already and don’t know how much more money I am going to lose from employees that are unwilling to help. I do not recommend.By Jeffrie Gallogly (a week ago)Melody that was working in the auto department was probably the rudest woman with absolutely zero customer service skills. I drove 25 minutes to the Hastings location just so I did not have to deal with her. DO BETTER.By Tony Janu (a week ago)

Store was overall really clean and organized, of course there was a lack of staff but with the way things are these days I appreciate any and all employees that were there. Many great new items and the kitchen and small appliance section which definitely save me money for the same items I planned on purchasing elsewhere. There were areas that were empty shelves but I believe that they are putting out the new season so I hope that everybody will just have some patience and appreciate the employees that are still working in our retail stores, thank you for being there.
I would give zero stars if I could! Every time I come here I get so stressed out and annoyed because the workers ignore you if you need help, they’re always on their phones or chatting with their coworkers, the place is always a mess… And they don’t know how to stock correctly… I often find expired items on the shelves. I was waiting over 20 minutes for a worker to unlock the glass door to get me some shark vacmop pads that were 14 dollars… I continuously had to press the button for help and nobody cares to come to help. Then once someone finally came, she said I had to buy it right away even though I still had more shopping to do. I asked her if they could hold it up front for me until I’m ready to checkout and she said I have to go to register 4… There was a very long line at that register and that employee wasn’t even at that register so I decided not to even bother trying to figure it out so I left without getting it. They act like I was going to steal a 14 dollar box of shark vacmop pads… And then when we left they have to check our receipt of course and take forever looking at everything in our cart because they treat everyone as if they steal. I will avoid Walmart as much as possible from now on, especially at this location. This location is the worst… Even the parking lot sucks… People can’t drive right and cut you off in the parking lot constantly. I prefer Target because their employees treat people better, actually help you, and it’s overall a much better experience… Not to mention a cleaner and tidier store!
This is the best Walmart I’ve been to in MN lately. Especially with so many locations being shut down near me in the past 3 years . The employees at his location are wonderful and it’s a very well organized store. I prefer going to Walmart any time I get the chance!
I work in customer service so I’m the first person to understand having a bad day where you’re not bubbly but the treatment i received here and saw others go through absolutely disgusts me because I could never imagine treating a human like that even on my worst day. I went in there to pick up my already ready photos and spent 5 minutes waiting for someone to help me. It’s in a more closed off earlier so I brushed it off on not being able to see someone is there. I walk up to an employee and ask if she could grab my photos for me because no one was there. she told me to wait there because someone might come there eventually then she walked away and starting whispering to her coworker. I wait another 5 minutes then go to find someone else because I had plans after grabbing them. I went up to a worker and asked if she could help me with something, she turned around and looked at me but didn’t say anything to me. I explained the situation and she rolled her eyes and started walking to the tech area, I thought it was so she could tell someone to grab my photos but all she did was say something to the girl working in tech and they both stared at me before the first employee walked away and the tech lady continued sitting at her desk. At this point it’s been 20 minutes and I’m about ready to go behind the counter and grab them myself. I decide to go up to the tech desk to explain the situation again and ask for help, the lady just glared at me and then pointed for her coworker to do it. The guy that finally ended up helping me was the only good part of this experience, he was so extremly kind and apologised for how long it took and made small talk while we headed over there. He was in a wheel chair and the way into the photo desk area was blocked and impossible for him to get in there so he had to move it and the floor in there was cluttered and blocked up and the photos were set too high for him to reach. I came in and grabbed them myself which I had no problem doing especially because his coworker made him do a task she knew wasn’t possible. Instead of helping me herself she sent someone to do it that she knew couldn’t get through the clutter on the floor or reach the pictures. I wish I knew this man’s name because despite being sent into this situation he was so friendly and kind. I was in the photo area while my friend was getting instant photos and saw another customer go through the same process of finding someone, the girl she found didn’t say a single word while she helped her out, she threw her stuff down and rolled her eyes then nearly ran into me stomping out of that area. Typically these issues are unknown by management unless they’re told so I don’t blame the store, higher ups or anyone I didn’t have an interaction with but something needs to change with the employees i did come across because for someone in customer service to feel the nauseated from the experience I can’t imagine what non-customer service/retail workers would think.
Update: My preferred Walmart in the metro. The parking lot can be a little tricky. I usually come in from the north side from the roundabout.
I am rarely disappointed with the selection.
Pretty busy Walmart, but usually the one I go to.
I was looking for cork flour and husks to make tamales! Found what I needed. Staff is usually helpful and the place is typically clean.
